  1. Fuk me, I'm so deep already, I better not, brother... Yet...
  2. Am I already in the list for one of these things? I can't remember if I jumped on it...
  3. I talked to them this morning about this, called in. They just finished a large batch, and start shipping today, through next Wednesday. They told me I might receive the one I'm waiting for by Tuesday, but they couldn't guarantee it. I ordered on 28 Sept.
  4. Oh, make no mistake - it's not "rumors" about poorly functioning PSAs, not in the least. Just because your PSA runs, don't make the assumption they all of them run, because a large portion of the problems that PSA has been having with this platform has been seen right here on this board.
  5. On the note of Armalite, I've been waiting for AR-10 Carbine and AR-10 Rifle gas tubes to show up in stock somewhere. I called them this morning. They're literally 5 blocks from my last job location. I told the guy i need two Carbine and one Rifle gas tube, so he put me on hold for about 5 minutes, and rounded them up for me. I asked if they had a retail counter at the location, and they don't. He did take my billing, shipping and payment information over the phone, and he held them for me there. Drove up at lunch, and picked them up. VERY cool. The guy I spoke to was Cody. I'll tell you - the building for SAC isn't even marked on the outside. Nothing. Heavy tint on all the front glass, and you can't see inside, from outside. When they opened the door and let me in... It's IMPRESSIVE. It really makes you think, when you see the names on the wall... Strategic Armory Corporation, McMillan Rifles, Surgeon Rifles, AWC Silencers, Armalite, Nexus Ammunition... There's alot of talent under that roof...
  6. Fuk it, I do it daily. Anytime I fuk myself up. CARB CLEANER!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! It's over. Done. Nothing bothers it after that. Eat the most pain, early on, and "gay pain" later doesn't even phase you. "Oooooh, I BUMPED it" doesn't even register...
  7. What you're doing here will benefit so many people in the future - so this is an investment, of sorts. You are the one that laid the groundwork, and did the hard work. In a 2.5" buffer, only two weights will fit. Hang onto that extra tungsten weight, because it can turn another buffer in the future into something else. Standard to H1,H1 to H2, H3 to H3... that's insurance, when you need it. 2 of those weights need to go into the buffer I suggested, to get the weight I specified. Done it already. Now, you have options - with the skills you have. Don't machine an aluminum body.Machine a Stainless body. If you "match" the profile of a regular 2.5" buffer, made of stainless, include 2 tungsten weights, you'll be 5.15oz total. If you don't taper that stainless body, after the spring-capture point, and you bring that body down FAT, you'll be at a 5.7oz buffer, overall...
  8. But, once you cry over that carb cleaner, brother - you can slam that thing in a car door and you won't think it hurts... It's all about the "pain perspective" my brother... Carb cleaner cures all that shiit... NOTHING hurts worse. Disinfects, too - Everything. Blast it.
  9. Burns don't bother me, brother. Unless you burned some fingers RIGHT OFF... I'd puke on that. For burns, or minor cuts, here's how I treat them... Spray those fuckers with carb cleaner. RIGHT AWAY. Just shoot them with a stream of carb cleaner, DIRECTLY on the minor burn or cut. Straight into it. It'll certainly disinfect everything that might have gotten in there, but there's one thing for damn certain... There's nothing else that you can do to that minor cut or burn that's gonna hurt worse than hitting that thing with carb cleaner... so the worst is already over... Fuk it, it can't get worse than that...
  10. Right now, I only have 3 guns that can cold-bore that 845-yard target (I probably have alot more that will do it, but I haven't tested them on that distance). One is "iffy" because it's a 5.56 gun, and that's stretching it's max distance, and it does it most of the time. The other two will cold-bore, first shot, center-mass that thing every single time. The calibers that I have that will do it every single time are 6.5 Grendel, and .308 Winchester. You get to pick the caliber, Ray, but you don't get to pick the platform. You don't determine barrel length, action, platform... none of that. Put your money in your caliber... and in your skills with that caliber... Hedge your bet. I'll have another caliber that will do it, before next week, when we meet, and I'll bet on that one, too. Bring your .260 Remington with you.
  11. You don't even have any idea what kind of load it takes to get a 338 LM supersonic at 2000 yards... But I do.
  12. Yet, you still missed that target of yours. Didn't you... Your shiit-talking,at this point, is entirely up to you, Ray. How bad you want to be embarrassed, at distance, is also up to you. You call it what you want, but I'll show you what it's about. You can keep your .338 LM bolt gun, set up for you. If you want to threaten to shoot people that are down range changing targets - then you can keep your ass on your couch, and don't even show up. You think you're "being funny" but you crossed the line on that, motherfucker. WAY crossed the line.
  13. I like how Ray pussied out, and immediately called out "no bolts" in his shiit. Just pick the CALIBER, Big Boy...
  14. I'll match you dollar for dollar on the 845, cold bore, first shot, too. You pick the caliber.
  15. I'll gladly take your money, brother. Repeatedly. How many times you wanna try to buy in?
  16. With everything I owe everybody, brother, I have to plan every paycheck out now. I'll take what I can get, when I can get it, and figure out the rest as it rolls... It's tough right now, but it'll get a little better in a few more weeks. I got hired low, with a promise "if I work out" that it'll go up in 90 days. I got talked to today, and I'm matching the top performer there, and that they'd make that increase on time, when they said. I've been smoking them, but not recording everything that I do. I'm recording it all now, on the time clock. Numbers next month will be WAY different...
  17. You better wear those AR500 targets, then.
  18. I'm in for the better deal they have, when you get there, brother. As long as it's 2 of those 18" x 26"s - if it's cheaper and comes with more free shiit, that's the bonus. I'm gonna wreck those rabbit targets...
  19. Same here. I've salt-water-swam phosphated barrels in a past life, and they don't rust right away.
  20. Not when the system is designed for 5.4oz, and you're running 5.7oz - that 0.3oz isn't the "make or break" right there. I'm running a 5.7oz shorty buffer in the .260 Rem. Behaves fine.
  21. Ah shiit...
  22. It should be something that pops up when you register, that you must read and acknowledge, before your registration is approved...
  23. Indeed, it is. It's time to ramp it up. Once I add the Tequila, there's only two things that can happen. It's Wild Jungle Monkey Sex, or someone's gettin' the shiit beat out of them. On RARE occasions, it's both...
  24. OH SHIIT!!! It's on now!!!
  25. "Fire and Maneuver" and "React to Contact" are my strong skills...
