  1. You're being conspired against, brother. The search is on...
  2. You need to mate barrel nut threads with upper receiver threads - thread mating, on two separate parts, usually of two different materials. You NEVER do that with dry threads, because you'll gall the fuk out of them, and they'll seize. Even if it's the SAME material, its never, ever good - I've galled enough stainless-only and aluminum-only hardware to tell you that's the truth. I'm shocked that dude even said that - he needs slapped, and I'll say that publicly... What a dumbass... FOr barrel nuts - if you've never heard this yet- you don't tighten it and forget it. Torque it once, WITH GREASE, loosen it. Hit again for #2, and loosen it, hit it again for #3, and SET IT. You do this THREE TIMES before you set it down to torque...
  3. I've long considered a KSG, and had no idea it would just EAT the mini-shells. However, NutNFancy will not be my resource or endorsement for anything... Ever...
  4. That bastard...
  5. I think that exact same thing every time I go to the range...
  6. I had no idea that the little short bastards FED through a KSG... when you gotta do other things to your gun to get them to feed from it. They DON'T feed in a Mossberg autoloader, and they DON'T Feed in a Rem 870... I tried the Mossberg 930 - No Go. I don't own a Remington shotgun, and never will... They only feed in a Mossberg pump IF you run that adapter... and they run like a champ with that thing, too...
  7. I'm down with the 30 Carbine, brother. You had some weird ones in the last post, too - 8mm Mauser on hand? Throw that 45-70 from the last post in there if you still have it, and give me a running total in a PM. I'm down.
  8. Thanks for the tip - we're all over Sam at Panhandle, here.
  9. Welcome. I'm right up your alley here. Just finished a .260 Rem build. Still finalizing loads.
  10. You said three things in there that don't mix. California. Mexican. Ammo. Those three things can ONLY exist together IF you're talking about illegal Mexican aliens in that state...
  11. Get to how you're feeding it in your KSG, man...
  12. When I visited the manufacturing site in Phx to pick up gas tubes - they are struggling to get everything together, under one roof. Call them, brother, on the phone. Go through the push-#s to get to Armalite, and you'll talk to either a "Clay" or "Cody"... I think it was Cody... You'll get set up, right away...
  13. By the way, they tell you that you can fit 8 of the 1.75" mini shells in a Shockwave. You can fit 9, easily. Plus a 2 3/4" in the chamber, first off. 10 rounds from a 14" barreled "firearm" is pretty fucking cool.
  14. My Pusher has it, in STACKS, brother. I keep telling him he needs to donate it to me... Slugs, too. Piles of it on his counter. Makes me sick...
  15. How did those little short shells feed in the KSG? The size of them seems to be a problem for most shotguns, so I'm curious to know what Kel-Tec is doing different to get them to feed in the KSG... Here's what I have to do to get them to feed in a Mossberg (500 and 590): Without this OPSol Mini Clip, it won't happen in a 500./590. Not even. WITH it, they feed flawlessly. Curious what Kel-Tec is doing different to keep these mini's going on there...
  16. Matt Cross just stated to me, personally - I KID YOU NOT... I can't think of ANY other way to describe it, better than that...
  17. Put that on your Secret Santa Wishlist, brother...

    Grilling

This is 2.5 hours into a 6 hour cook. 4.5 lb beef chuck roast. it came up to room temp then got heavy salt for 1.5 hours per side, to break it down and season it. Bottom layer is 4 diced potatoes, then diced large yellow onion, then meat, with a healthy dose of LaRue Dillo Dust, then a package of dried Beefy Onion Soup mix. Layered out the sliced Poblano peppers, and then the pepperocini's on top. Smack that crock pot on high, let 'er go for 6 hours... YUM!
  19. Who on this board is a dealer for them, brother?... He HAS to have something to do with it... Shiit, I was ambushed by Larry and Dpete, on a brass sale. I thought I missed the sale, or DPete just took it off the market for me, saying I wanted to wait for a paycheck. It was delivered before I even knew WTF was going on... There's some shady bastards on this board, brother, I'm just sayin'...
  20. In it's current configuration, this is the very next thing I'm doing to it, brother: http://www.shotenarmory.com/products-and-pricing.php This will find it's way onto the other Mossberg pumps I have, too. I need to see if it will fit my 835 UltiMag.
  21. This gives me shivers...
  22. Yes and no. Shotguns have their minimum specs, just like the rifles and pistols do. This Shockwave pattern, though (and the Remington TAC-14), technically aren't "shotguns." They are only "Firearms" by definition. It's the way the law is written, directly, and what those two companies have done with the direct wording of those laws. Sure resembles an SBS, though, right? Especially like this - here's how mine is sitting, right now, with a pistol brace:
