  1. The Cyclops. I like it.
  2. Speaking of California, and Children - here's the new one. I kid you not. Water, or unflavored milk. Nothing else, in Cali, for kids... California bill seeks to ban sugary drinks from kids' menus http://www.foxnews.com/food-drink/2018/08/20/california-bill-seeks-to-ban-sugary-drinks-from-kids-menus.html California lawmakers are looking to pass a bill that would require restaurants to serve only water or unflavored milk with kids' meals in hopes of combating obesity and other diseases linked to sugar consumption. Senate Bill 1192 passed the Assembly on Thursday but still requires one more vote before being signed into law by Governor Jerry Brown. The bill doesn’t outright ban sugary beverages and would still allow customer to request alternative options, like soda and juice, the Modesto Bee reports. Supporters of the bill argue the importance of providing healthy options to children. “Kids’ meals shouldn’t come with a side order of diabetes, obesity or cardiovascular disease,” said Assemblyman Kevin McCarty, D-Sacramento. However, critics argue it’s up to parents to make those choices, not the government. “Seriously, like, what’s next?” Assemblyman Matthew Harper, R-Huntington Beach, said. “Are we going to insist that you have to have kale in your salad unless you specifically ask otherwise?” In July, Baltimore became the biggest U.S. city and first on the East Coast to pass a similar ordinance, barring restaurants from serving unhealthy sugary beverages with kids’ meals and instead opting for milk, 100 percent fruit juices, water, and flavored or sparkling water without added sweeteners. Baltimore restaurants that don't comply with the ordinance will be faced with a $100 penalty. The Associated Press contributed to this report.
  3. He has more posts than this on this rifle? Hell, he posted it in the contest section. I declare I won it. He didn't state the contest rules, and nobody else says they won, so they can't beat me on that. OP, I'll send you my shipping information. Thanks for the rifle.
  4. Yep, RZR, parallel twin. There's 25~28% parasitic loss through the CVT system, too. If it was crank Hp #s, it would closer to 300Hp. It's different to the tires. These things, bone stock, N/A engines, put 74~75 Hp to the tires. I'd say that's an improvement... Carillo rods, CP turbo pistons, ARP bottom end studs, ARP top end studs, etc. It's built.

Hey, ya gotta do what ya gotta do, brother...
  6. JohnnyB will need to drive about 51 miles, each way. At least that's how far it was when I worked in Peoria, from my house. It's a short trip for him.
  7. That's a loooong story... Goes back about 2012... In the Tombstone Arizona Crystal Palace Saloon...
  8. I'm with you, on that...
  9. You might see it, and you might shoot it. It'll probably be here for the Fall Shoot, again this year... To directly quote you: That will be October 18-21, in the desert, just south of you.
  10. I can see him ^^^ biting his tongue right now...
  11. I knew this would happen... ?
  12. I dig it, big time - you're moving the rear sight forward on that slide, so the RMR cut can be at the very back... smaaaaart man. Looks like a Gen 3 slide?
  13. That's fucking insane. That's a metric shiit-ton of boost, and that thing HAD to have a badass bottom end build. I do that shiit now, on 1-liter engines. 230hp to the tires on a 1-liter engine... That shiit HAS to be straight, or they wad up.
  14. You have the chance - come to the Fall Shoot. It's local, for you.
  15. ^^^ That Drag Pak Challenger is what led to the Hellcat and the Demon....
  16. ANY twin-turbo 3+ liter anything is a bad motherfucker. I don't care who makes it. If it's Asian, they have their shiit together, and that's what the US car manufacturers are finally starting to wake up about. It's all about progress. It'll be another 10 years before US manufacturers answer to that - but it's still progress... Who the hell thought we'd have a US production car with 707hp 5 years ago? Nobody. Who ever thought you see a drag car on a showroom floor, for sale? Drag Pak...
  17. I SO lured you into this shiit... Now you know why I couldn't "afford" a drag bike...
  18. That's scary, because you'd be even fucking BIGGER, you large bastard...
  19. That is absolutely badass, brother- congrats!!! I mean, Char, congrats, girl!!!
  20. That's exactly where I am right now. @Rsquared has been telling me for years, and I'm seeing that he's right.
  21. That's just because you're part Terminator. That's just because you're a giant fucking Viking...
  22. Not really - it's surprising. Just a 30-cal A2 on it. You don't eat that concussion, as the shooter, it's mild. Noticed the same thing on a 5.56 11.5" pistol build, with a regular A2. No different than anything else, and you're not eating concussion. So, based on that 11.5", I put an A2 on a 7.5" 5.56 pistol - THAT SUCKED. The concussion rattled your teeth. I didn't get through a full mag or even get the irons zeroed, and took it home. First thing I did when I got home was order a KX-3 for it...
  23. Not even a little bit, man. Not in the least.
  24. That was in his MEC press, no? I just started working at a place that is owned by a very avid shotgunner. We are a MEC dealer, and I'm going after one of those presses that SS has, based on his writeups.
