Czechoslovak Group is a major Czech Republic-based holding company which already controls brands across the arms, aerospace and manufacturing industries – including Fiocchi, Tatra, and Atrak. The deal will see Czechoslovak Group take over well known ammunition brands including CCI, Federal, HEVI-Shot, Remington (ammunition) and Speer, which combined employ around 4,000 people in factories in the US. The company will continue to be headquartered in Anoka, Minnesota. The deal is expected to be finalised in 2024. I love watching stuff like this. I love kids that grow up young, with something to do - something that they can put time into, and get good at. Team sports are a start, and excelling at that is a start - but every kid needs something that they can excel at as an individual. It just makes better people, in this world. A standoff with police ultimately led to the explosion of a home in Arlington, Virginia, after the barricaded suspect fired a flare gun dozens of times and a firearm inside the residence. Arlington County Police said officers responded to the home in the 800 block of N Burlington at around 4:45 p.m. on Monday following a report of possible shots fired. The preliminary investigation found that a suspect discharged a flare gun about 30 to 40 times from inside his home into the surrounding neighborhood, police said in a news release. No property damage or injuries from the discharge of the flare gun were reported. Officers attempted to speak with the suspect over the phone and through loudspeakers, but he did not respond and stayed barricaded inside the home.
