We can lump FOPA 1986 into that list of rules, because that was the big one that stopped true automatic weapons manufacture, from it's enactment, forward. It certainly wasn't any kind of "Firearms Owners Protection Act," like the name eluded to. It only modified certain parts of the GCA 1968.

Nah, I'm good right now, but I had a sneaky plan with getting 2 more 30s. I've been the LT-158 Ho for a long time. Basically, the 104 but with 10 MOA built in. I started thinking about it, and I have some good BDC scopes in 158s, and they really don't need to be in those. So, if I snag a couple more 104s, I can swap those out on those few rifles, and save those 158s for later - on something I'll need that 10 MOA on... However, Lesson 65b got me! You Snooze, You Lose! At least I got that 34mm here now, and it's one that I actually do need.

Those uppers are pretty damn cool. Brilliant design, and I hope that company is around forever. SHOT 2020, they were downstairs with Aero Precision, Ballistic Advantage, and Clint Smith, and they had a damn good booth set up. That was the first time I'd seen them, and it's a prety impressive upper that they put together - no matter what caliber.

@Matt.Cross, check it out, brother... Let's discuss. The flights I made recently - TSA was completely on their ass in what they were supposed to be doing. Bottom line - they weren't even doing their fucking job. I was shocked, to see this, as a flyer, in regards to my own guns.

Python Cowboy is just a badass. It wasn't even close to arterial bleeding, FWIW. If it was arterial, he would have known immediately, because it would have been shooting out everywhere, with every single heartbeat. Not judging, just adding some medical first responder type shiit to the situation. He handled that well, and there was some serious veinous bleeding going on, and he was losing some blood. If he hadn't tied that thing off, 10 more minutes would have been a different story.

Looking at it now, and seeing what happened - I saw the other ones shoot to $399. And I called for 2 more 30mm's after the 34 was on the way. With them being $4-hundo now, you just got 3 mounts for the current price of 1.5 mounts. ...you're also the reason there were no more 30's for me to buy...

I'ma big fan of barrels that aren't 20", so I'll probably do that 16" nitrided one... I wish they did that thing in an 18" barrel. Fat kid + cupcake... all over with.

Full AAR - first test after drilling the gas block port up was a single round in the mag - test function with single-round lockback. It was immediate, worked flawlessly. Approx. 60~75 rounds sent through it after that with absolutely zero functional issues at all, recoil impulse was soft with the H3 buffer, everything is good with that 5.56 gas gun. I'm relieved...
