Beating the snot out of those pins is the ONLY way to get them to move, if they're installed right. The ONLY way. You need to hit the shiit out of them, SMALL SIDE, with a punch that's larger then the SMALL SIDE of the pin, and literally "Get them to move." Once they move, it's easy. You did nothing wrong, as a company. Nothing.
Bullshiit, BIGBREW, WE told you what to do, and you didn't follow it. Not at all. You were specifically TOLD to hit the shiit out of the SMALL SIDE of the pin with a punch that's LARGER then the SMALL SIDE of the pin. I specifically told you to do that, and you were talking about a press, and all kinds of stuff. I specifically TOLD you that you have to hit that thing like ALI. Like it took something from you.
I'm being about as blunt as I can be in this post, too. I can get MORE BLUNT of it comes to it. Not against you, Nathan,
you're doing the right thing. BIGBREW, it comes to this - you didn't listen to the advice you were given. Here. THAT is blunt. And TRUE.
You wouldn't have that need to reach out, had any "listening" taken place. In the first place.
Right side, left side, who gives a fcuk. Mil-Spec doesn't matter, because this damn rifle isn't going into a combat zone,in a Private's hands - who wouldn't give a shiit which way the tapered pins were pounded in in the first fucking place.
