  1. I didn't really beat people to death with it - but I wouldn't hesitate to. <lmao> OP, did you call PRI yet?
  2. Older than that, brother. WAY older.
  3. Shib, for the record, I'm agreeing with you - though it looks like I wasn't. I know that's where they're headed, and you're right - they'll try that. I can't wait to see them fail miserably, too. <thumbsup>
  4. There's already a 638hp supercharged Vette out there. The C6 ZR1 with the LS9 in it. If the follow through with the almost-2 year old rumor and really do make the 1,000hp Stingray, some people are gonna $hit. <thumbsup> http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2013/02/26/1000-hp-chevrolet-corvette-stingray-in-works/
  5. Leave the adjustable gasblock for later, especially if you're not having cycling issues with your ammo-of-choice. My $0.02.

    Does Dahlonega count?
  7. ^^^ Seeing alot of that lately. In these days, details like a date/time stamp just don't matter... <dontknow> <laughs> <lmao>
  8. I think I just had an "accident..." <lmao>
  9. That tube is real carbon fiber. I've beat people to death with that thing, out here in the real world. Don't mess with that tube. <thumbsup> It's not car fairings, and $hit. <dontknow>
  10. This original post went silent on 19 Nov 2012. Some newb awakened it on 3 Mar 2013, as his first post, and he was last seen here on: Last Active Apr 09 2013 09:17 PM He didn’t stick around. That ran for a few more days, until 22 Mar 2013. …You just twice-awakened a dead post, 21 months later than last post. People, please read the date/time stamp on what you’re replying to. If you have a question about an old-a$s post, then ask your question in a new thread, and link the old post. In the voice of my ex-wife, and in the voice of my HAPPILY, RECENTLY DISMISSED Ex-GF… “WHY are you ALWAYS bringing up old $hit?!!?” moose-hunter, learn from this. Please. Everyone else... learn from this. Please.
  11. I will endorse this - to an extent. I know what the PRI carbon fiber rail price is. I know what the PRI front sight cost is. I've done two builds with those parts. If you cut up the front sight, you will be working on the cheaper part. However, even if the front sight were the more expensive part, I wouldn't fuk with the carbon fiber rail. Don't fuk with the structural integrity of carbon fiber parts. Don't fuk with the structural integrity of carbon fiber parts should be the new axiom of gunsmithing. You can't undo that, no matter what.
  12. If history serves, and I recall correctly, that was 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne). And they really did that. SF was doing horse operations long before Afghanistan, too. <thumbsup> Search out some "SF in Argentina" pics.
  13. I'd like to see how a health official could influence the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
  14. Brother, no military vehicle has to meet any civilian vehicle safety standards at any time - even to be driven on public roads. The only thing that the military has to abide with are speed limits and traffic laws, and HAZMAT standards. Convoy placards are just a courtesy to civilians. <thumbsup> Militarily, I could drive a big truck with air brakes, as long as I got militarily licensed. I could drive that on public roads, too. As a civilian, if I drive a truck with air brakes, I have to have a CDL. That's just one example. Fuk, militarily, I had to get licensed on a fucking chainsaw. No $hit. Don't have to do THAT stupid one as a civilian... <lmao>
  15. Shot some this weekend through a couple bolt guns and the AR - for a deviance-from-zero kinda accuracy, I didn't change any scope settings on any .308 firearms. The ZQ was still banging steel at 100 yards through all of them. It can't be far off at shorter distances, but I'd still like to try it at 300 and 400 and see how it does, compared to PMC Bronze 147gr.. Definitely passes the test as range ammo, no doubt. I'll reload the cases and see how it does that way. 3rd or 4th loading should tell me if the brass is good, in that respect.
  16. It's old-school. WAY old-school.
  17. AWESOME!!!!! <lmao> :hethan:

I'd full-on sprint up on you and force a pants-down hug on you... Willing or not... <lmao>
  19. Call PRI, and email these pics to them after that. They'll come up with a solution for you. <thumbsup>
  20. You used that one before - on this same subject... :yup:
  21. You pick one up, brother? I had a 3-9x40 P-223 on the Mk12 build. I bought this M-223 for that, for the M features and a little more magnification. Got it zeroed today. Very, very happy with it.

    Love ya, brother!!! :happydrunks:
  23. Old news, at this point. Instead of sending mine in, I replaced the trigger with a Timney.
  24. It's pretty wild. I got it all set up today by myself, and fired it off. We'll have no problems in a couple weeks. <thumbsup>
  25. Damnit... I'm gonna have to eat some more recoil in a couple weeks... <lmao> I'll bring my own ammo for it this time... <laughs> I'm taking out the new device tomorrow, into the desert, to see if I can set it up myself, and get it loaded. If I can do it on my own, then we'll have no problems in a couple weeks... <thumbsup>
