  1. Holy hell, that a good price on that rifle!
  2. That is one badass knife block!... <lmao> Who sells that thing?
  3. 5.56 MVP running regular Federal M193, 55gr FMJ ammo, 100 yards, right after zero of the BDC Carbine scope. It was zero'd at 50 (to coincide with a 200 zero), and these are the first 5 shots at 100 with it. With the 1:9 twist on the barrel, it does great with the lighter ammo out there.
  4. Haven't shot the factory-offered scope, so I don't know. Got my MVP 5.56 with no optics, and it's only had the 3-9x40 Nikon BDC on it, and I permanently switch that out to the 3x-fixed Nikon BDC Carbine scope.
  5. Bumping this topic for Montana...
  6. DNP needs to toss a few of his race pics in this thread... <thumbsup>
  7. Don't hesitate - great rifles. You won't be disappointed in the least. <thumbsup>
  8. We need to get a color-pool going here. I need to pick up some air-cure paints, probably Patriot Brown and Dark Earth. Wondering if I should go for the 16oz bottles. Maybe just 4oz in those two, and a few more 16oz bottles of the heat-cure stuff.
  9. I have shot both those pistols alongside ATF agents. Same range, a few lanes over. Rolled up in there with my typical table-full of stuff. They liked them. <thumbsup>
  10. I love the MVP rifles. I'd like to go after the 16" threaded barrel 300BLK version.
  11. Didn't paint that XDs. That just shows the two colors I've got on the way from Brownells - Dark Earth and Burnt Bronze - bot on the same pistol. I will paint my XDs just like that, though, and the XD-45, too. The Dark Earth is going on all those ugly gray parts on old Sexual Chocolate, there.
  12. Here's the Hazard4 Plan B pack - this is what I always have on me whilst riding the GSX-R2000. Quite the surprise as to what it can contain, yeah? 7.5" AR, folded. Yes, that fucking wall is OD, and the carpet is FDE - I have other FDE walls in the house to make up for that OD wall... :fawkdance:
  13. Pimp this thing. Gen III is on the way. My original order was for Gen I, when introduced. They devised Gen II during my order, and I received some of the first Gen II adapters. Gen III looks damn good. Here's what it really excels at, and the very reason for it's being:
  14. Yep - the adapter turns the 11.5" into "Firearm." No longer a "pistol" in the eyes of my brothers a BATFE, based on their own 26" definition. <thumbsup>
  15. I had almost a whole series completed whilst in the lovely land of South Korea, and they fucked up my shot records. Something with the stamp, not the shots. Arrived back in the Land Of The Free, and had to start that $hit over again, because if that "stamp." Even my individual shot record wasn't enough to appease the shot-gun-happy medics at Ft Lewis, upon my return. Double Dose. I'm blaming everything on this. When I lose my $hit here, it's because of those fucking Anthrax shots. <dontknow> Brace yourselves, men. I feel my Anthrax acting up again. Seriously, though - research as much as you can about the stuff in the PI, starting Jan 2002. The Palawan Kidnappings were in May 2001. I can only say so much about it. One day, I may be able to post pics.
  16. This thread is SO fitting, brother. You seriously need to post up some of your race pics. I'm not kidding. Just give a sample. Or 20... <thumbsup>
  17. Then, get to it and BAN his a$s already!... <lmao>
  18. This thread need to go before she sees it - she's been working her a$s off with zero days off now, for about 2.5 months. Her "off days" at work are mid-week now, but she's still in school M~F. So, no days off. Get this thread outta here before she logs back in, you buncha rat bastards! I'm WAY MORE POOR when she sees that rail... :rant2:
  19. Doesn't change too much when heated. I'll tell you, though - Patriot Brown looks almost black in the bottle, unless you really eyeball it. Everything is "lighter" once it's baked - for the bake-on stuff. The air-dry stuff pretty much looks like it does in the bottle, once cured. Pics 1, 2, and 3 below are how bad this stuff came out. Woulda been a GREAT mix to use for a "light gray" on her 300BLK Ghost Gun. Not so well on old Sexual Chocolate, here. Sucks. I learned something, though - Snow White is NO JOKE!!! Don't get crazy if you're using that stuff to cut colors!~!! :bat: :hail: Pic 4 below is my rescue, on the way from Brownell's, as we speak. There's enough of it to fix this rifle. There's probably enough of it to spray a couple Springfields, too. I think the XD-45 and XDs are gonna GET IT!
  20. ^^^ Looks like Instigator is caught instigating. Again. <lmao>
  21. $hit, I'm just happy that we're talking about the accuracy of a .308AR in the "Accurizing the .308AR" section... <lmao>
  22. Finally got some new pistol pics tonight, as I was FIVE MONTHS late getting info into another thread. You magically appeared in my mind at that time, too... :love4: <lmao> With the Law Tac Folding Stock Adaptor, I'd safely call the 7.5" pistol (from bare barrel end to back of receiver extension) a 23 1/4" length. The 11.5" pistol comes in with similar measurements, and I'd say it's 27 1/4" total length, bare barrel. Pics:
  23. Watching thread patiently, for pics of issues... <munch>
  24. Wow, took me 5 months to find the answer... Spike's T2 in the 7.5" pistol, and H buffer in the 11.5 pistol. Keep in mind, both those buffers are working with the extra weight of the added bolt carrier adapter of the Law Tac Folding Stock Adapter. That thing is made of steel, and it's got some weight to it, also. I think you could easily run the H3 buffer in a 7.5" pistol with the KX3 on the end of it. Worth a shot.
  25. Scary - now - to look at this news article from late 2010. So many people had no idea what was going on over there, or that we were even there in the first place - let alone, what we were accomplishing there, and why we were there... http://www.nbcnews.com/id/39444744/ns/world_news-asiapacific/#.VB-fXhbncxE
