Eastcoastlaxin
After finally getting to assemble my 308, I noticed micro scratches in the finish of the matte ss barrell. They are from the barrel wrench and gas block. As careful as I was, there should be no reason for these marks. Never had a matte ss barrell before. Is there a way to remove them or is this something I'm going to have to live with? Any help greatly appreciated...

Robocop1051
Steel wool? +1 A 000 steel wool rub down should suffice... or a longer handguard.
blue109
I always make sure to knock new AR builds off the bench on the first range trip. gotta get those first scratches out of the way so you can stop worrying about them.
