AdamO
Ya know,...the thing about 2 in 1 gadgets is that in most cases they don't do eithrr one well.. Sticking with my large frame for the .308 and my small frames for the 5.56 stuff. And my 10/22 for the .22lr stuff... ;)
blue109
and honestly, firearms is one area where more is ALWAYS better! why have one that does both, when I can have 2. Edited March 5, 2015 by blue109
EasyEJL
didn't they used to make this back in the early 90s?
ironmonster
So.... The .308 is a single stack mag? So if you want to use it as a .308 your stuck with proprietary low capacity expensive mags and if you want to use it as a 5.56 you have a obnoxious, heavy, bulky oversize gun. Whats not to love! I am always looking for impractical new products to make my life more difficult.
DNP
Man...they could have used you at the brainstorming party for that one.

HansRey
I would still rather have the Colt CM901... But would more likely stick with having multiple rifles over a single rifle for multiple purposes. It's a great concept but not for me! 98Z5V
I'm a big fan of multiple rifles - each one has it's own role. You can make one that fulfills several roles at once. Nothing is perfect, though, except for the Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle...
HansRey
Nothing is perfect, though, except for the Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle... Not exactly my cup of tea. I've had hands on with it, but meh... Buddy of mine also some how had an accidental discharge with his. Everyone was Ok, But meh. Maybe I need to just play with it some more... Robocop1051
I love my GSR... just waiting for a new (lighter) stock. Almost went to a Boyd, but saw the new synthetic stocks and may go that route instead.
