planeflyer21 Posted April 12, 2015 Report Posted April 12, 2015 Some very unique departures from the typical "custom" V-twin motorcycles:
survivalshop Posted April 12, 2015 Report Posted April 12, 2015 The Custom motorcycles are all nice , but when you put that $ next to them & only build fifty a year , they only for those who have it to blow . My way of looking at it is , if that "same bike "was fifty years old & was ridden day to day , & it was still around in working order , it would probably interest me .
DNP Posted April 12, 2015 Report Posted April 12, 2015 Gonna lose a leg when that chain goes....ouch.
shepp Posted April 13, 2015 Report Posted April 13, 2015 I like it!!! But everything I like is expendsive
survivalshop Posted April 13, 2015 Report Posted April 13, 2015 I don't even want to thick about getting a replacement part . $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
planeflyer21 Posted April 13, 2015 Author Report Posted April 13, 2015 If you are buying something that is mechanically a one-off or very limited production run, you don't care how much parts cost.
survivalshop Posted April 13, 2015 Report Posted April 13, 2015 True , but I can't see any advantage to being one of the first to own one . They won't see many miles on them to break anything , a show off bike, like a safe Queen . <laughs>

98Z5V Posted April 14, 2015 Report Posted April 14, 2015 Fuk that. I didn't see ONE burnout or wheelie. Not one. I like to ask this of all the American V-Twin guys, also - what's your numbers look like at 7,500 rpm?... <lmao>

planeflyer21 Posted April 14, 2015 Author Report Posted April 14, 2015 Resale value. Not fun, not adrenalene, not off-road adventure. Resale value. Sounds like a Chevy/GM owner.
