blue109 Posted May 16, 2015 Report Posted May 16, 2015 Picked this up this morning. Been wanting one for a long time. PPS 9mm. Will be nice for those establishments that post those pesky no gun signs.
planeflyer21 Posted May 16, 2015 Report Posted May 16, 2015 Picked this up this morning. Been wanting one for a long time. PPS 9mm. Will be nice for those establishments that post those pesky no gun signs. Those are very thin. One of my instructors is a huge proponent of the PPSs, stating they are the "Most overlooked pistol available today." Not sure I agree with that. Especially once you start shopping for spare mags.
blue109 Posted May 16, 2015 Author Report Posted May 16, 2015 Came with 3 mags, plus two IWB holsters and meprolight sights for $450. I sold my mosin for $400 Thursday night. Hustled a HUGE profit on those YHM ORC front sights I posted a link to a while back. Basically came out ahead on the whole deal lol
planeflyer21 Posted May 17, 2015 Report Posted May 17, 2015 Sweet! Go buy a lottery ticket before your luck runs out.
98Z5V Posted May 17, 2015 Report Posted May 17, 2015 No it didn't - you can shoot the .460 S&W Mag... :hethan:
Microgunner Posted May 17, 2015 Report Posted May 17, 2015 Awwww....ain't it cute. Like a real gun, only smaller. =D
blue109 Posted May 17, 2015 Author Report Posted May 17, 2015 :D sure is a pain to draw smooth from an IWB holster! Wife peeks in the room where I'm watching a movie and practicing and just shakes her head lol. I don't have much experience with single stack pocket 9s, but this thing is going to take a bit to get use to
blue109 Posted May 24, 2015 Author Report Posted May 24, 2015 Ran about 250 through It. Bunch of mixed FMJ, my old carry ammo that rotated out(golden sabers) and my new carry ammo(Fed HST 124+p) flawless as expected. Trigger is nothing special, but decent. Slow deliberate shooting at 30' makes tiny little groups. Fist sized groups aren't hard shooting rapid. I was stringing them them at longer distances but I just need some practice. Kholster (looks like a supertuck) is a pain to set up, but this gun is invisible. 7Rd mag in the gun and 8 rd in the pocket. Played with the kids at the mall, ate at a posted restaurant, walked into a few posted stores and nobody had any idea there was a pistol there. I really like this little guy. Still carry my P99 most of the time but this guy does exactly what I want it to.
crimsonfalcon07 Posted May 31, 2015 Report Posted May 31, 2015 I love my Walthers. Eventually I need a new P99AS in 9mm, and a P99C. I will have to see if I want the PPS. Right now I carry a PPQ.
blue109 Posted May 31, 2015 Author Report Posted May 31, 2015 There is a local guy selling an "as new in box" first gen P99AS for 450. Pretty cool score. I'd like to check out a PPQ.
ridurall Posted August 27, 2015 Report Posted August 27, 2015 While I carry a Delta Elite 10mm my wife loves her Walther PPS in .40 S&W. It's a dandy concealable gun that suits her perfectly.
98Z5V Posted August 27, 2015 Report Posted August 27, 2015 I think this was one of the last threads that micro posted in. It's pretty damn appropriate that BlueMike started it, and even admitted that he was a whore, and it sucked micro right in.Shiit, I miss his banter...
DNP Posted August 27, 2015 Report Posted August 27, 2015 Just go to his profile and scroll the list. There's some good ones in there. RIP Micro.
