Compared to the Hard coat, would you say it's close to as strong? And finally, What it anything did you do to prep the components before you powdercoated them? Turbotezza Posted April 14, 2011 Author Report Share Posted April 14, 2011 The rifle is brand spanking new and hasn't seen much use yet, so I can't say for sure if it is as durable as Hard coat or not. SI-Defense did the coating and it is done both inside and out. Extra $40 and 6 weeks longer wait time! LOL!That REALLY IS a beautiful build!!!! Pretty good match to Magoul's FDE.'Bout the perfect rig.Love the Alumahyde Coyote Tan; I like it much better than their FDE, which is what I used for my AP4.
