After the Newtown shooting Cheaper Than Dirt cancelled standing orders for AR/AK/other mil-type rifle magazines that were in stock, then upped the cheap price to $99/each for crappy surplus. They'll never get another cent out of me.

RRS
Okay dudes, I am gonna do it, the 20" 6.5 CM! I wanna check with a sort of local shop, they're over in WA, Benchmark, I don't know if they make AR barrels, but if so, and barring them being $600+ish bucks, I would like to support them, so tomorrow is order day!!! RRS
So whats the righ call on getting the barrel fitted onto the upper, anything I should be thinking about or know with these big gas guns, as opposed to an AR15? Edited September 22, 2016 by RRS
washguy
RSS just got an email flash from Rainier Arms 10% and 15% on barrels...go get that 6.5 that comes with the matched bolt...you cant lose...its guaranteed to shoot sub moa....nevermind its now out of stock get that BA then ive got a BA and it shoots very nice barrel goes into upper just as an ar15 barrel would....a lil lube and a nudge with a rubber mallet if need be....be prepared to have to drill out the gas port if it doesnt cycle properly.....seems as if these barrel makers when using the rifle length gas port have been under gassing them.... ya never know Wash

RRS
Would this trigger work in the AP M5 lower? http://www.cmctriggers.com/products/standard-triggers/standard-trigger-flat/
RRS
I mean I gather the milspec trigger is the same less a stronger trigger spring and heavier hammer, but the pins, are they the same, that trigger is a small pin, but it appears they suggest it is okay in an AR10 platform? I can call them tomorrow.
RRS
Yep its all good, I like this trigger and would like it in this build, I plan to order it tomorrow as well. Unless of course ya all suggest otherwise...
