It's useless as a weapon light (how surefire markets it) and due to the lens angle only semi useful as a flashlight, but I found if you flip it to the bottom of your wrist and set it on low it's awesome for checking IDs! Cool at your price. Pretty silly at surefire price. If I could rig a watch to the same band it would be cool for club gigs.
