 My Brother had a Kit like that on his Springfield Armory 1911 , the pistol came as a Kit from SA , back in the 80's . Not sure what happened to it after he passed away . He liked it .

My LGS guy says a lot of good things about Ruger 1911's. Even a better whompin deal!

I was lucky I didn't bring enough money to the gun show where I first saw these.  I would probably have one right now and still not have everything I wanted for my X39.
