We also have no  state income tax good housing at a must lower cost in rural areas, but the big oil and gas drilling areas are not cheap. Lower prices mean lower taxes.

Texas also needs more right thinking people to move here instead of the liberal virus that has been infecting the state lately.

The white tail hunting might be great, but you have to consider this - almost every single politician that's in your state wants to "regulate" that away from you, too.  Oh, they'll tell you that you can still hunt, but you'll end up out there with sticks and fucking rocks, caveman-style. 

THAT is what most of your politicians REALLY want...

PS, you and your lovely new wife can not play hard enough to even put a dent in the fun factor of Idaho, hunting, elk WT deer, Mule deer, antelope.moose.big horn sheep rocky Mt. Goats,black bear cougar, all these animals are within 1 hour of me except antelope , fishing is simply beyond belief...and I shoot all the time in my front yard and more public land than any other state ....
