Hello from Cali!

Hello everyone I am dog, I've been lurking around here for a while and mined some of the wealth of great info here to complete my first build.

Parts List:

• Surplus Ammo Arms upper (lapped). 
• 80% Arms lower.                                       
• Trinity Force DPMS buffer kit.
• Ergo Rubber Molded Grip.                         
• Luth-AR MBA3 stock.                                   
• Rise Armament RA140 Trigger
• Radian Raptor charging handle.                 
• Odin Works 15.5 in. Keymod rail.               
• Faxon Heavy Fluted 308 Match Series Barrel, 18in. Rifle length gas.                     
• JP Adjustable Gas block.                           
• VG6 Epsilon 7.62 Muzzle Device.               
• Vortex Diamondback Tactical FFP 4-16x44 scope.                                                 
• Cali Compliant Magpul mags and the Cross Armory Quick Pins/Safe Mag

The upper receiver came as a complete assembly before the faxon barrel, JP gas block and VG6 muzzle device were installed. It has a generic BCG right now but I am waiting for the faxon 308 BCG to become available so I can purchase it to match the barrel. The original upper assembly was nice, but I have a feeling my upgraded upper is going to kick way more ass.

Welcome - from what I could find on their website, this is AR15 stuff here...  You'll need to change out the buffer and spring in order to get that extension to work on the 308.  Just a heads up.

Ok thank you for the heads-up, I appreciate it. So far it has functioned ok, I believe I made a mistake when listing that part for this build.

Sooooo...  What recoil system are you running, then?...

I believe it is the Guntec USA kit, not 100% on that, a friend had it and let me use it. It works, no issues that I am aware of.
