I didn't do great this one, but I didn't do bad, either.  DirtBike Tommy DID do great.  Got GunPusher John out there for the first time, and he didn't do bad, either.

New girl did SPECTACULAR for her first one ever, nervous as fuk.   Jittery, shaking like a dog shittin' chicken bones...   :laffs:  She's been shooting with us for awhile now, and I talked her into shooting this match.  Hell, she can hit that hidden oxy tank that we put in up there in the hills at 609 yards at the SDTF, and it's not a wide tank, either.  Why not get her out there in a match, right?  :lmao:

It worked.  She's hooked.

OH HELL YEAH!  Sarah on the Sex Swing!  They haven't had this thing out since we shot it 2 or 3 months ago, but they brought it back.  She killed it on the Sex Swing...  I'm just sayin'...  Pay attention to that toe-dig that she's got going on, to load that bipod.  Look close.  She's GOOOD!

Part 2 of that same stage - shoot from the Sex Swing first, then move to the tank trap... and finish shooting all the other targets.

7 targets to hit, total, but 9 times.  2 from the Sex Swing, move, shoot all 7 from the tank trap after that.

Wow what a great time , you are lucky to have a shoot like that and that weather to have it in lol looks like you are getting the flow of the shoot down awesome stuff...

Here's the Stage Info that we had to endure.  Was a harsh course this month.  Read all about it.   Just because it sucked, made it so fun...  :lmao:

Click 'em until they get big - they'll get bigger, so keep clicking until they do - then you can actually read the Stage Instructions...  :laffs:

It's one of the best things you can do with clothes on, brother.

I missed going this month - and yes - I really missed it.   Unfortunately "life happens."   See you next month.

Two thing in response to that...

1) There is a guy in one of the other squads that I swear should probably have a walker with him - he does NOT move well - but he is out there having fun.   Seriously - he starts moving between stages maybe 5 minutes before everyone else and he gets passed on the way (the walk might be 20 - 30 yards).  I offered to help lug some of his gear last time out and he grinned at me and said something to the effect of "you want to rob me of my exercise?"  I'd bet that if someone showed up in a wheel chair folks would figure out how to help them through the course.   It is a good group of folks.   🙂

2) I'm in my 50's and seriously fat and out of shape.   It is doable - and good for me...

Seriously - one of the best thing's I've done with my time recently.

Yeah 'cause I'm pretty sure it's better for all concerned I keep my clothes on, plus Arizona has a lot of sand which will end up in uncomfortable places...

Good on him, having worked with a couple guys >65, one was 72 being active goes along way. This type of shooting is great for both physical and mental agility.

Gonna hit a dune "day" next weekend, and rip what we can for one day out there.  Sand ends up everywhere = in your ears, eyelids, butt-crack...  It just gets all over.  You can't do anything about that...  It's GOING...   deal with it...

Bet I'll have some epic pics from this one...

Sand. Ft Bliss. It was everywhere.

But we had some good times outside of town on an old 500cc 2 stroke dirt bike.

I have one of those - and the thing terrifies me.  IT picks the time when it's gonna try to kill you - and nothing you can do about it will change it's mind...

The term I've started to use is "biscuitus" cause when I get home at the end of the day it's like...

I grew up in a semi-rural area north of Phoenix and we were on a long stretch of very well maintained dirt road (it was a "major" road maintained by the county - about 3.5 miles long between the nearest paved cross streets).  A bunch of us kids had little dirt bikes - XR80s, XR200s, etc. so we were into the dirt-bike scene - but our parents kept us on "trail bikes" for "safety."  Regardless, we all drooled over the 2-stroke stuff.  Well one of the local adults had a CR500 with an aftermarket pipe.  I have a distinct memory of hearing him coming down the road and running the 50 or so yards up to the shoulder of the road to see him go by.  You could hear him a mile off and if you moved quickly some times you'd get there before he was in view.   There'd be a dust plume in the distance and he'd appear over the little rise going about 90 MPH wound out in 5th.  I have this frozen image of the guy standing on the pegs, crouched over the tank, in cut-of shorts and a wife-beater - no helmet - his mullet whipping behind his head.   This happened pretty much every Saturday morning for a while then it stopped.   I presume that he died... but maybe he just sold the bike.

It's highly possible that the CR500 ate him.  Mine has tried to kill me several times, that bastard...  :thefinger:

If you can get the government to recognize Biscuitus as a medical condition you'll be rolling in government handouts

I've ridden ONE in my entire life, and it's the most terrifying streetbike I ever threw a leg over.
