I wouldn't bat an eye to an EoTech. My 553's are pretty stought. As far as the Steiner, I would like to think that it could handle some short term extreme temps.

Hey. Thinking of stuff in general. Whenever you've got a minute to check. Do I have any empty ammo cans at your place? I'm not sure if I left any of them empty from last time. Cause I'm gonna have to send out some Grendel rounds for the MK12 before the fall shoot.

MAPP is over-rated - too high of heat in a concentrated location. I used this method, for best results...

I'll paint the backside of it, so when it's open, it's dirt colors. I'll leave the front of it unpainted, so when the port door is closed - you KNOW... :thumbup:

I'm saving that one for the black rain receiver set that I've got. This current one was an all Armalite parts except for the trigger, charging handle and muzzle device.
