My 2011 (Dec) to 2012 (Dec) BEARD-A-THON for Cancer Awareness.

This is on my facebook and some other forums I visit. Figured I would share my progress with my new home here on 308AR!

The way it works is people donate <X> cents per day I grow my beard and do not cut it, trim it, or shave it. Most people seem to have settled for 10 cents a day which would be something like $36.40 after 52 weeks (1 Years).

All donations go to the local cancer treatment here in Augusta, GA (Medical College of Georgia to be specific).

LOL, reminds me of a story a friend told me over the Christmas break.  He is a SEAL, and while over in ..... would routinely fly in his native "blend-in" garb, shaved head with full beard, and man dress.  He's of Egyptian decent, so he really fit in and said it was funny to see how Americans and Europeans would look at him on flights.
