98Z5V
Anyone ever heard of the Superbike Murders? Look it up. I'll never be one of those victims. Never be a victim, anytime, anyway. Just my mantra. Last rule, in The Rules of Gunfighting. #24. Have a plan to kill everyone you meet. Also, Rule #18. Watch their hands. Hands kill. In God we trust. Everyone else, keep your hands where I can see them. Here's what on my body, every single day. I wear cargo pants, so left and right pockets, on thighs. Or, it's on the belt. 43X with Meprolight night sights, Shield Arms 15rd mag release, and Shield 15s, so 16 in the gun, chambered always, and the spare 15 on my left side. HK 3.5" serrated folder on right pocket, Streamlight Wedge in my left pocket. Phone and Copenhagen in left cargo, Knipex 87-100 mini pliers, Carmex, and eye drops in the right cargo. KORE ratcheting gunbelt. The line delineates left side and right side carry. Edited May 7 by 98Z5V
98Z5V
So, that's on my body. Here's what's in the car. We'll start with long-arms, first. One of these bags is in the daily, always. Pistols are bitchin', but pistols are NOT PRIMARY ARMS. Rifle ARE Primary Arms. Pistols are Secondary Arms, and their purpose is to buy you enough time to fight your way to a Primary Arm. Period. Pistols are backups. Time-buyers. Buy you time to get your primary back up and running, or GET YOU to your primary... Blue bag or Black bag - one goes with me, no matter what. 98Z5V
We'll start with the Blue bag, because that's my current carry. It changes, depending on mood, conditions, expected silliness, whatever. The Blue my is my current everyday. Short 7.5" 5.56 AR pistol, red dot with a BDC to 600, 3x magnifier with a ranging reticle in it, 20rd mag inserted, one in the chamber. O-Light 1k lumen light on it. Witt Machine SME on the end of the barrel, get the blast on the short bastard away from me. 2 x 30rd mags in the front pocket. 81 rounds of 75gr Hornady HPBT ready to go. It's stupid accurate out to 300, tested. Shouldn't have to go anywhere near that range, in a defensive situation. Nowhere close. 50 yards would be a chipshot, and 50 yards would get me out of any situation that I need to get out of - because nobody will want none of it, if it had to start up. This is what your daily-carry pistol is intended for - use that pistol to fight your way to something like this.
Camotruck
I guess I could put one of these in the truck but it's about 3" longer than yours with a 10.5" barrel in 5.
98Z5V
Black bag - always an option. Black bag is 9mm. It's one of two 9mm's - circumstances dictate - plan your day as best you can. Option 1. Ruger PC-9 takedown, with plenty of ammo. 21rd PMag in the buttstock, 21rd PMag in the main pocket with the gun, ready to go. ETS 32rd and ETS 40rd mag in the front pocket, ready to grab. Option 2. Substitute the gun. Ditch the Ruger PC-9 takedown, and use the 5.5" Aero EPC-9. Lose one 21rd mag that way, but gain AR functionality that ready to go, with a mag already in it, and I don't have to put it together... Both of these options are still 9mm - which is why I'm the short 5.56 now. Both these options are still available, easy - toss another tennis racket case in the rig... carry two cases... Camotruck
Or my .308 or 6.5 Grendel with a 12" barrel? Just need the right bag.
98Z5V
Next, the daily bag - this thing goes everywhere I do. Always, but not into a bank, because that would just fuckin' freak people out - but it's in the car/truck - whatever I drive. There are chargers / cords / adapters for everything I run, electrically. Wallet, camera, GoPro with spare batteries. All internally, in the pack. Externals are CRKT Woods Chogan tomahawk. Hatchets are for pussies. Carry a fuckin Tomahawk. Same side, in pocket, backup folder. Kershaw Tanto Blur, serrated. Other side, Hogue EX-F02 fixed blade knife, and one of many North American Rescue CAT tourniquets. 98Z5V
Lastly - the daily driver. I swap this stuff over when I drive the truck - but the Mitsu is my daily, and it stays in there 95% of the time. Driver's door pocket - another CAT Tq, and some Quik-Clot. Don't know if I'll be able to get out of the car... Passenger door pocket, same shiit... Center console, under the main dash, 2 more packs of Quik-Clot. Center console, rear storage area, under my right elbow - quick flip of the lid - spare stock 10rd mag for the 43X. Rear hatch, storage trunk I put in there, that is covered by the hatch body panel - you can't see it, looking into the car, it's covered by hatch body panel... Air compressor, tire plug kit, jump starter, and spare charger, to charge anything up that takes a USB cable. All the same batteries. Lastly, under the ugly gray wool blanket, in the hatch. Armor. Small chest rig, 4 mags for the 43X, Shield 15s, and another CAT tq. If it's THAT stupid, and I'm at the back of the car - I've already bought myself enough time, with ammo, to get to it, get it on, and then get it on... That's my daily EDC. Roll Heavy, men. Thus Endeth The Sermon. Edited May 7 by 98Z5V
sketch
Just received the safe life soft armor.. needs more time for a proper fiting review. They originally sent me the xl model but it was exsevily wide on my chest. I'm hoping the large, I have now softens over use. When I present either a rifle or pistol my arms bind or push in the chest area and cause a ( hot spot)at my biceps. The large is 1/2" less than xl. In the chest. 10.5" measure. Still wide but doable. It covers my sides which will obliged a knife or other in a concealed manner. Hoody on a hot day!

But... we ALL live in a Border State now - even if you're in Missouri, et al... Don't matter where you live... I talked to a co worker this morning who comes from the area where this war is going on. He said it's almost over that it has died down a lot. He also said they wouldn't come here to the US to fight us or their war with each other because they know better, they're not stupid. They know what would happen. I think there's too many of us willing to do what needs to be done to protect America from them. I think we would greatly outnumber them and there's too many just waiting for such an opportunity to prove it! There might even be so many that anyone anti America or the treasonous politicians would run and hide out of sheer terror! Just my 2 cents.
