Matt.Cross Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 The abundance of idiots in high places depresses me. The future is looking more and more bleak by the minute. Oh well, can't do much but try to prepare thoroughly...
mrraley Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 This is beyond stupid… It’s a comment he made, get over it. It’s freedom of speech. You didn’t see this poop when they disgraced the folded flag. They wrote an apology and life went on.
unforgiven Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 You know brother Pat I have so many flags that are worn that I can't even bring myself to destroy then even if it's what I am suppose to do.Rene
98Z5V Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 There's a whole lot of poop that civilians don't have access to, as far as personal purchase goes. Until recently, there were certain laser devices, night vision equipment (by type), that was not available for commercial sale. There is still more out there that is not allowed for commercial sale. That's just how it is.I like that the article referenced Andrew Touhy, and his blog - That guy deserves recognition. For those that have been on gun boards for a long time, you'd recognize his username - "87GN." Very solid guy, great reviews, and hard work.

SDDuc996 Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 Joe Galloway should have just STFU before running his suck and posting his comment. Trying to pass it off as HK's statement (which HK later issued a statement stating that wasn't what they said at all) really made them look like incomptetant asses. Suck it up, take the hit, and roll forward. Don't shift blame to cover your fornicate up.
Robocop1051 Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 I just read this:September 13' date=' 2012Statement 2 regarding RECOIL Magazine: As many of you know, this month’s RECOIL magazine contains an article that has brought into question RECOIL’s support of the Second Amendment. We here at MEGA are extremely disappointed by these comments, and the reaction from RECOIL. On Monday we announced our future advertising plans with RECOIL were going to be determined over the next few days. Our customers purchase our products to exercise their Second Amendment rights, and to protect them! We only align ourselves with other companies that share the unwavering passion for the freedoms we all share. These freedoms are ours and remain so because they have been fought for, time and again, against those who believe that these rights are dangerous and should be removed. We think there are too many questions about the true motivation behind RECOIL’s article and their support of the Second Amendment to continue supporting their publication. Where the second amendment is concerned, we and RECOIL exists at opposite poles. Taking all of this into consideration, we have decided not to renew any of our advertising with RECOIL magazine at this time. We hope in the future RECOIL is able to show us, and everyone that truly supports the Second Amendment that they share in our passionate support of our liberties.Mega Arms[/quote']
SDDuc996 Posted September 14, 2012 Report Posted September 14, 2012 The Editor (Jerry Tsai) who made that comment has resigned. Who didn't see that coming. Also the dipshit that made those other comments (Joe Galloway) was let go of.Let's see how rocky the slope is that Recoil will have to climb, just to dig their way out of the hole they've dug for themselves.
planeflyer21 Posted September 14, 2012 Report Posted September 14, 2012 They could start with a civilian only Class III raffle.Jon
MaDuce Posted September 15, 2012 Report Posted September 15, 2012 It's nice to see allot of influential gun makers and retailers are taking the protection of gun rights seriously.
