Robocop1051 Posted February 5, 2013 Report Share Posted February 5, 2013 SI-D is DPMS spec (I have a SI-D <thumbsup> )Since you are using DPMS/KAC spec'd parts, the AR15 gas tubes should be fine. Carbine and Mid length tubes are generally all the same. The difference is the rifle length. Armalite tubes are about 1/4" longer than other rifle length tubes. Worst case, you may have to drill a hole in the side of the handguard to be able to adjust the block (set screw type). If you use a switchblock (Noveske) or Armalite's adjustable block, or any other manufacture's adjustable block, you need to measure from the back of the block to the threads on the receiver. I wana be for sure If you want the gasblock exposed, at the front of the handguard, then it's simple - rifle length gas, rifle length handguard. Midlength gas, midlength handguard.
