Hello everyone,

Just picked up a DPMS LR-308t on an impulse.  A lot of things going on here in MD and want to buy most of the things on my list before Oct. 1.  I know this is an entry level .308 but I didn't want to break the bank on a rifle i'll only shoot 10-15 times per year.  I'd like to swap out the stock and rail and maybe upgrade the trigger.  This is my first .308 AR.  Hoping to learn a lot on this forum.

You came to the right place, welcome. They're like candy, you can't stop now....you'll need more than one if the cutoff is October. Entry level or not, you'll get a lot of enjoyment out of it. There are so many options for upgrading so there should be no rush on the little things. Have fun shooting.

I know his pain lol.  Went into my local shop today not planning on picking anything up but couldn't walk out without it.

Thank you.  Looking forward to taking this thing out.  I've only shot .308 out of a bolt action.

R, maybe you can give him some lessons on how buying all this stuff is done...

I enjoy hearing from you, you make me feel a little less compulsive lol.

Negative, am I'm glad, but I expect all the other carrier's to follow. It'd be interesting if one stood up and said no.
