Pork ribs on the grill. Salmon in the smoker. TriTip still marinating. Buffalo chicken wings ready to go in the oven! Mother-in-law picking up some final essentials at the grocery store. Wife is in the house with the baby, and the rest of the women-folk. Men are on the back patio surrounding a box of cigars and a bottle of old No. 7. To end the night we have enough fireworks to qualify as a WMD. It's not the 4th if your front yard doesn't look like the Gaza Strip the next morning.

Can't beat that <thumbsup>  I'm actually kind of surprised that there's not some ban on fireworks there. Baton Rouge gets 60+- inches of rain per year and has a fireworks ban :cookoo: Everyone ignores it including the LEO's ;D

We're just going to watch the city fireworks. It's so dry around here I don't even want to mess with them myself. There's already a bigassed fire about 45 miles north of us (Silver Fire) that is just now being contained.

Had big BBQ for the LEOs on duty they all stopped by for and hour or so before going back on shift. No fireworks this year. Just going to hang with the fam tonight. Happy 4th guys take care and hope all rolls smooth for ya

Went by my moms ate like a big dog,saw sisters and thier kids.Went to my sister in-laws it was like WWIII.I had the dog she was not happy left after 1 beer to go home.It was a good day hope everyone had a great day also.

Got up yesterday and went fishing on the reservoir caught some nice kokanee ,then came home took a old guy nap, got up and went to town and had a 16 oz prime rib a couple of margaritas and then went to the park spread out a blanket and watched the fireworks about 25 min of really heavy ordanace and in the canyon it really booms off both walls it was a great day , I thank the boys who spent the worst winter ever in Valley forge to give us the chance to have days like this....

Had a bunch of close "friends" over Thursday night to watch the city fire works and one of the slummy bastards stole money of my gf's wallet. Few guys had girls with them I don't really know guessing its one of them. Been thinking of putting up cameras, never thought I'd need them for people I invite into my house. Think I may set a trap for my birthday......

A bro in the next town said some knucklehead set a garage on fire with fireworks.Garage burned and cars blewup.Was quite a show........Talked to brother Jeff 'aka Walsh" said a bottlerocket landed on a 500k house and burned it down to the ground. :blink:
