guruofhotrod Posted August 13, 2014 Report Posted August 13, 2014 Looks Great! I've heard about these for some time now, wondering how soon they will be available?
warthog984 Posted August 13, 2014 Report Posted August 13, 2014 I wonder if their price point will be below Aero Precision. It is nice to see so many manufactures getting into 308.
AdamO Posted August 14, 2014 Author Report Posted August 14, 2014 (edited) Wondering if Aero has anything to do with PSA getting into the game? In other news.. SAA to begin selling .308 receiver sets in 3.... 2.... 1.... Edited August 14, 2014 by AdamO
Dane Armory Posted August 14, 2014 Report Posted August 14, 2014 Wondering if Aero has anything to do with PSA getting into the game? In other news.. SAA to begin selling .308 receiver sets in 3.... 2.... 1....Errrr you mean Aero relabeled sets !
Robocop1051 Posted August 14, 2014 Report Posted August 14, 2014 I haven't seen a receiver that needed a grip wedge in a long time. I wonder why they didn't correct that?
BigP623 Posted August 14, 2014 Report Posted August 14, 2014 I have that exact grip on my armalite and i could use a wedge. Not sure y.
Robocop1051 Posted August 14, 2014 Report Posted August 14, 2014 I have the Magpul MIAD on my SI Defense .308AR. I have the large back strap on there. No wedge required. In fact, I had to sand the grip down a bit to get it to fit properly.
blue109 Posted August 14, 2014 Report Posted August 14, 2014 magpul grips don't sit flush on my Fulton either. close enough that it doesn't bug me.
shibiwan Posted August 14, 2014 Report Posted August 14, 2014 (edited) Looks like forged components - so they oughtta be competitively priced. Wonder who's making their forgings.... :D Edited August 14, 2014 by shibiwan
AdamO Posted August 15, 2014 Author Report Posted August 15, 2014 Parts are up on the web page. Looks like 159.99 for a stripped lower and $139.99 for a stripped upper. So $299.00 for the set. The lower is actually cheaper than Aero and the upper is basically a wash. Except if you buy the combo through Aero and you come out $10.00 less than buying individually from PSA. Interestingly enough.... The location of the FA on PSAs upper is more or less identical to AP's which we already know is worthless with the current crop of DPMS spec BCGs.. At first blush both also look to use the older 'high profile' DPMS rail although there are some subtle variations between the two..... PSA... Aero Precision...
98Z5V Posted August 17, 2014 Report Posted August 17, 2014 Lowers are already out of stock! That, right there. That, my good man, is Lesson 65b. You snooze, you lose.

They're gone again, I think I may order a lower in the next couple of weeks, gonna have to do something with the extra BCG after I get the one from Shadow Ops! Edited August 17, 2014 by guruofhotrod
