I just picked up a Rainier Arms 16" Select barrel for $226.95 delivered.  Pretty good deal.  You have to enter code 0823 for this price at Rainier Arms website.

For some reason it wont let me paste hyperlink, but it is under the sales tab on their site.

OK, you turkey!  You just cost me $226.95!  (And single handedly derailed the direction of my current build with this)  :bat:

"Rainier Arms ONCE A YEAR ONE DAY SALE! Use coupon code 0823 to see your final sale price! Can NOT be used with any current promotions, final price. Limited to stock on hand, no rain checks."

Lesson 65b is in full effect!

Just an FYI... Rainier Arms Select BBLs are often re-branded BHW BBLs. If it is a polygonal/melonite combo, that's what you got.

On the positive note, Rainier's QC is top notch and they stick by their products. If you buy a bolt at the same time as a barrel, RA will automatically head space the two for you, guaranteeing a match.

Glad it worked out for you.

Make sure you give us feedback on how that barrel performs for you once it's up and running!

on another note, I spent a bit of time behind a 300WinMag with a decent brake today....making me dream about that Miller Precision Arms 300 Guardian!

Someone should put that 16" Match barrel in their cart, and enter the 0823 code, just to check.

I was signed in at the time, so that might have been the MIL/LEO pricing on it, not a sale price with code...  <dontknow>

Well here's hoping it won't be a total P.O.S.  Seen a lot of mixed reviews on the BHWs.  Some say they're GTG, others say they're not impressed...   I guess we shall see...

I have BHW and Rainier Select Barrels (BHW) and they are all very good barrels.  You will not be disappointed.  If you are, Rainier will make it right.

Good deal!  Looking forward to seeing what they're all about. <thumbsup>
