  1. Those are spiffy looking! I can't wait for mine to show up.
  2. Removed due to bad taste of response after reading about other troubles.
  3. I have several slings.
  4. That is warped and funny as hell.
  5. But that doesn't preclude him from being really slow.
  6. I knew it was a bargain. Most of them are $750-800. I had 450 Bushmaster on the brain that day.
  7. If he hasn't, he should get evaluated to see if the meds are appropriate. They work much better in the early stages. It is a hard conversation to have with a family member, but it may help with the condition.
  8. I saw one of those for about $650 at a gun show last month. I hate myself for not getting it, but I was on another mission that day.
  9. @Dan start up an intro thread so we can hear about making big explosions.
  10. You're good. There are many threads on here that have had this problem. Some refuse to believe that 1/16 " would make a difference. There are manufacturers that don't think it matters. This has only gotten worse since more companies make cheaper guns. The budget is frequently cut in R&D. @98Z5V and others have spent the last 10 years diagnosing this. We try to correct the misinformation so it doesn't continue to spread. As you saw, I made a mistake in measurements when I answered your post and was corrected as well. We are all here to learn and share the knowledge that we have.
  11. I saw mostly rimfire ammo in the pictures that I saw. It was not a stash commensurate with his firearms. The guy had an FFL supposedly and was operating outside of it..
  12. I was jealous. . It looked like a bunch of hunting rifles and military surplus. I didn't see many ARs. There were some nice looking pistols though.
  13. No issue, I went back to correct my post to avoid future confusion. That's what I get for posting that without verifying it first.
  14. That guy was the only one who may have rivaled you.
  15. My RRA has worked every time I pulled the trigger, even without regular cleaning.
  16. Welcome to the forum. There are plenty of threads that detail the differences in receiver extension (buffer tube) depth and the appropriate buffer and spring. An approximate depth is not good enough for these rifles. A rifle length receiver extension (RE) is the same across all platforms - AR15, AR10, LR308. An Armalite AR10 carbine RE will be 7 5/8 inches deep, not more or less. A DPMS pattern carbine RE will be 7 inches deep just like an AR15, again not more or less. The buffers and springs are also not interchangeable. Here is a great reference chart for that. If you are still having an issue with your rifle, you might be better served by starting a new thread with your details.
  17. I sorry to hear that.
  18. It is a hard thing to watch. My MIL went all the way to the end of Alzheimer's. Thankfully she did not have personality changes. I am sorry for the loss that both you and her will experience.
  19. How many of those do you have? I'm sure you have some in your arsenal.
  20. Jacob is a great guy and makes a great sling.
  21. There are several other videos just like it if you want to see them. I think it is like handing a large caliber pistol to a small person with no firearms experience. It is not going to end well for the one getting filmed, but someone will be laughing at them.
  22. Welcome from Texas!

    Rain

I can't see how there is any rain left with what it dumps on us on the way through. We had another 2 inches today.
  24. Air bag explosions are not a small thing.
