  1. Great shooting Tom!!! That looks like a great time. I was looking forward to the video.
  2. Great! Glad it worked out for you. I passed the knowledge that I gained from others on the forum. Nice shooting.
  3. You might look for these as well. I got 4 of them for $9 each.
  4. I love some smoked pork butts! Looks great.
  5. The sad part is that the gun-grabbing masses think they are waking up. The socialist instigators and politicians know the truth. The people on this and other like-minded forums usually understand what is occurring. As in NZ, we have become outnumbered by the sleepwalking myrmidons created by the government education institutions. They just want the latest toys and to be "safe."
  6. Damn, that does suck 3 foot purple jelly dongs. These incidents are happening at times that suggest a planned attack on gun rights. I don't always suspect a conspiracy, but if the tin foil hat fits....
  7. Venezuelan military scare tactics.
  8. Nice looking rifle Wash.
  9. I bought a complete upper made by PSA. I have yet to find a mag that will reliably function without holding it just right.
  10. https://www.dvor.com/battle-arms-development-ambidextrous-firearm-safety-selector.html?promotion=firearm-parts-and-accessories-38-2019-03-18 It has a long wait time but it looks like a good price. They have other products from BAD as well. This is for AR15.
  11. Happy birthday.
  12. It is the same place.
  13. Thanks
  14. That's the stuff that white sh!t is covering in Wisconsin.
  15. Function-wise, the rifle was perfect. Thanks to all those who helped me along the way, especially @98Z5V and @Matt.Cross. The only hiccup I had was one fail to feed with the first full magazine I put in. I stripped a round out and no problems from then on. I used 4, 10 and 17 round E-lander and 5 and 10 round CPD mags without fail. The PA scope and Larue mount were well the money. It could not have been easier to use unless I knew what I was doing.
  16. Awesome
  17. My Grendel thread shows what most of it looks like except the stock. I think they have a ejection port cover now as well.
  18. I can make it up there. Susan's knees won't be able to make it without the lift. She'll be there in spirit (during her nap). 214 yards with a pistol, downhill, is damn impressive. Even if it is Mike's "warm" loads.
  19. That looks like a great time.
  20. Susan asked if there would be a ski lift to get up there.
  21. Here's a target from the sight in at 100 after I got it on paper at 25. The top left was the first shot aiming at bottom left square. Major adjust and I was low left of bottom right square. A couple more adjustments and the center dot was hit. It was shortly after this when Susan hit the golf ball.
  22. Now I want peach cobbler and ice cream.
  23. Thanks, I started with the stock and went from there.
  24. Here is slow motion video of first shot. VID_20190317_092100~2.mp4
