It seems that young DNP has made his dominant eye known by sighting with the left. I frequently ask patients which eye they sight with to determine dominance. Either of the tests mentioned will give an indication of dominance and work well. I prefer holding both hands out with the small hole in the middle. I will have patients look between my eyes through the hole. The eye I can see through the hole is the dominant one. Pointing with one hand can skew the results toward that side.

Wow! Glad you are doing well. It is usually better to go to the closest ER to get treatment started and then transport in ambulance (or helicopter) to a more advanced hospital if needed.

Do they have "What did you order/put a stamp on/mail/take out of the mailbox/bring in the house/open the box..." threads as well?

It is effect. Affect is usually a verb, and effect is usually a noun. To affect something is to change or influence it, and an effect is something that happens due to a cause. When you affect something, it produces an effect. I guess one of my hobbies is closet grammar nazi. I hope typing nazi doesn't get me on a list. :)
