I had a patient/mother tell me her 15 year old daughter went to a lake party when she was supposed to be at a friend's house. The mom called the cops on the party because there were 20-something guys throwing the party. Everyone got in trouble including her daughter. When the daughter got released to her mom, she got her a$$ paddled out in front of all her friends with the cop's blessing. She likely hated her mom at that moment but will remember the lesson a lifetime.

My wife wanted a gun that could she could keep on her mom's side of the house since she spends most of her time there. She wanted something that could be hidden or put out of sight easily. She did not want another 12G (in our bedroom) since her mom is afraid of guns. This is what we agreed on and it followed me home from the gun show today. I considered a Judge, but the fit and finish is so much better on this one. It is definitely worth the extra money.

Slightly tongue-in-cheek, I tell patients not to eat anything white or that tastes good. Mostly it's the carbs that will get you in trouble. If you cut back on those and start exercising more, it goes a long way to keep your body healthy.
