Welcome to the forum. Be sure to get one of their uppers if they make one and at all possible. It will make mating the upper and lower much easier.

With a ~7 inch receiver extension, you need a 2.5 inch buffer that weighs 5.4 oz. An AR15 carbine buffer is too long and too light. As was linked above, the Armalite carbine kit will work very well.

She was a very badass kid. She was not afraid to pull the trigger on anything that was offered to her. She hit the 200 yd target with Rob's modified PCCarbine on the first shot. Rob wouldn't even try after that.

Shilen is about 15 miles north of me. I have a 20in Shilen barrel that is waiting for me to put the rifle together. I got it at their annual swap meet in May. If you are close, or can make it for the event, it is worth going. I got my barrel for about $250 off due to an oversized gas port. An adjustable gas block will fix that.
