  1. My wife tested positive on Tuesday with the same symptoms. She feel much better now with only some residual fatigue. I was a little congested last weekend but didn’t think anything about it. I tested negative and have had no symptoms beyond intermittent allergies. We will get tested today or tomorrow. I have been off work since Tuesday.
  2. Enjoy your weekend.
  3. Would you do this?
  4. Welcome to the forum. I'm happy your rifle is functioning well now.
  5. My dad said this basic thing for years. (RIP). He said to put it on a street corner and let people get what they want and see if they survive.
  6. Looks great!
  7. Welcome to the forum. Christmas is sometimes hard to get quick replies from the people who know. It appears to be a standard DPMS 308AR lower. Your best bet for compatibility would be to use a DPMS upper. Sadly, that ship may have sailed when they went bankrupt and were sold in pieces. They are not impossible to find, just not available everywhere anymore. You can inquire about this one if it will fit your needs. I believe it to be made under the same corporate group as DPMS prior to bankruptcy. https://www.cdnnsports.com/ar308-target-upper-slick-side-remington.html
  8. That's where the money will come out of the budget.
  9. Merry Christmas to everyone here. I wish for everyone to get all they asked for from Santa as well as things they need even if they didn't know it. Spend the day with family or friends if you can and remember the reason for Christmas.
  10. Susan and I had an opportunity to go there 20 years ago for me to go to school. We would have been there for almost 4 years. In-state tuition and a better school won out though.
  11. I can see them and can find them. If I dug though a few textbooks (I may have loaned that one to someone), I could come up with the reason for only seeing the curved lines peripherally.
  12. If you repeat the crap long enough, the people who know different will convert, die or be "educated" how their thoughts are wrong. That will leave only the believers, the brainwashed and maybe a few who are too afraid of the repercussions of dissenting. People in North Korea believe that their country is the best and strongest on earth. That is the only thing they are told.
  13. Yours would be more pointed as I recall.
  14. I watched a video a while back (that I can't find at the moment) where a guy showed that sitting under a blanket with a lit candle can somewhat quickly raise your body temperature when you are outside when it is cold.
  15. I remember doing that in school in the hallway during a tornado warning. What no one mentioned at the time were the 30X30 panes of glass at the top of the wall lining the hallway. This was pre-AC and the glass panels had about 3 inch gaps between the panes to allow for air circulation when it was hot outside.
  16. What measurement did you get?
  17. Did you play with your caulk?
  18. Beer made me find this funny and post this.
  19. How many rounds do you have through your rifle?
  20. Where there's a will, there's a way. It may not be a smart way. But it is there.
  21. Carfentanil, a synthetic opioid, is a white powdery substance that looks like it could be cocaine or heroin. Drug dealers mix it with heroin to presumably make the heroin stronger. It is 10,000 times more potent than morphine and 100 times more potent than fentanyl. The drug is also used to tranquilize elephants and other large mammals. This drug is so powerful it poses a significant threat to first responders and law enforcement personnel who touch it by accident. In addition, people can overdose on carfentanil quickly. Multiple doses of the anti-overdose drug Narcan may not be effective. Users exposed to carfentanil can experience dizziness, clammy skin, shallow breathing, heart failure and more.
  22. Welcome again.
  23. I watched that in world history class in high school when studying African conquest in the 18th century. I had seen it prior to that.
  24. Welcome to the forum. You beat me to it.
