  1. Considering that AR's and such are selling faster than they can be made, I somehow doubt that will work according to their plans. The same day as the mass shootings the gun ban crowd started pushing for repealing the 2nd, and gun sales doubled, which were already 3.5 million to 5 million per month. Somehow I do not believe those people are buying them just so that they can turn them in.
  2. I did not say it would be easy, only that waiting until it is forced upon you will make it harder.
  3. What you are talking about looks more like a gun ban than an AWB The smaller list would be what is not on that list.
  4. What he said is largely true for me as well, I wish you guys in the leftist run states would vote with your feet and get out. Sooner or later they will get something passed and you will either give up your guns or become an outlaw. Far better for you to pick the time than to run at the last minute.
  5. I'm pretty sure that you can find someone to take it off your hands. Sizes ? (both helmet and vest)
  6. Mil dot for unknown range shooting, when you do not have time to change the settings. Other reticles for known range i.e. target shooting, when you do have time to change settings, it will block slightly less sight picture. They have had it for that price for at least 3 months.
  7. First buy the lowers and the parts which would be affected by the ban, such as barrels with threads on the muzzle. Barrels are in short supply now, if a ban comes it will only get worse.
  8. Thank you for this, moving targets are a weak spot in my shooting.
  9. If you are going to buy a variable scope why not buy it ? The $300 or so that you spend for the fixed power scope would be a substantial part of the price of a variable. One I really like is the Bushnell Elite 6500 4.5-30 http://www.bushnell.com/products/scopes/riflescopes/elite6500/654305MD/?CFID=43847318&CFTOKEN=92c27423a10e0f81-C010B654-B899-4E68-69209FEE8C02EEC0& I found it here for the lowest price, about $700, sadly after I bought one :'( http://www.bigsupplyshop.com/search.asp?keyword=bushnell+elite&search.x=14&search.y=5
  10. If I was running either one of those companies I would have moved it decades ago. I once worked for a company that moved and paid the moving expenses for any employee that was willing to move with the job, they rewarded loyalty and kept trained people at the same time.
  11. More ammo, more ammo and more ammo. Other than that, I'd like a heavy revolver. If things hold longer, then more uppers, maybe more calibers like 6.8 SPC, .300 Blk., .458 SOCOM
  12. Not too long ago I picked up a Champion bipod, it is a less expensive copy of a Harris, with swivel and locking lever already installed. I got it here; http://www.bigsupplyshop.com/Champion-Traps-and-Targets-Pivot-Bipod-6-9-40855_p_5840.html There are others here; http://www.bigsupplyshop.com/Bipods-and-Accessories_c_235-1-3.html
  13. I apologize if I come across as harsh, but I feel that time is short and we need as many awake as possible. Illusions can be very hard to kill.
  14. Because they both get their strings pulled by the same puppetmasters ? Do you still believe either major party has our best interests in mind ?
  15. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon today urged sustained efforts to tackle the illegal trade in small arms and light weapons Mr. Ban told delegates, in a statement delivered by Deputy Secretary-General Jan Eliasson, that illicit small arms remain the weapons of choice for those who seek to challenge legitimate State power This is from the UN itself, emphasis added by me. http://www.un.org/apps/news/story.asp?NewsID=42744&Cr=small&Cr1=arms

  19. As a generalization though, the better your insurance the better you get treated, and if you really want first rate service pay cash.
  20. Rino ?
  21. Either you would need to be a very deep sleeper or they would need to be the sneakiest person on Earth to reach under your pillow while you are sleeping. Should anyone try that with me they would quickly find out that I don't sleep that deeply, and the not so nice part of me is likely the part that wakes up first.
  22. If what you are building is DPMS compatible, the AR-15 magazine catch/bullet button is the same part.
  23. I have come to consider the two "parties" as factions that mainly disagree on how high to turn the stove up, with the frog in the pot. One side thinks the frog is desensitized enough to turn it up and the other wants to leave the heat where it is.
  24. As long as you mean labor in the form of people sneaking into the country and taking jobs away from citizens both major parties favor that.
  25. A classic Communist method of dealing with dissidents, considered more humane than simply killing them.
