  1. That's where it's headed. And they know it. The problem will be that there are more sheep than there are are of "us". So long as that's the case and will continue to be more of the case as time goes on...they can say they serve "the people". The majority. How do we create more of "us"? We are the only minority it will ever be OK to trample on in their minds. It's how they work. When the next civil war begins someday, where will it start? What will be the red line? How will it be accomplished? It's obvious that we will never change the other side and the craziness seems to be accelerating at an exponential rate. It's going to take a lot to save the country we love and more of the same isn't going to do it. What's next?
  2. That a Trail Runner?
  3. Dam that looks nice! She's gonna let you sleep inside?
  4. Holeeee craAp! Do you see the size of that thing??! that boot has to be at least size 15!
  5. You won't or shouldn't need adjustable. Save some money there. The hand guards will need to be however long you want them based on whether or not you want the gas block covered or exposed. The gas block location is determined by the the gas port location...carbine, mid, rifle etc. depending on which gas system your barrel has, that will tell you about where the block will be. If you want it covered, I can show you some neat math tricks...but I think you've probably got a calculator somewhere around the office with a plus and minus button. So many choices, where do you start? The barrels you ordered should mention the size gas block you need. one pieces work nice and if you aren't pinning a muzzle device on it you'll be fine if you ever need to take it off. If you were pinning a device, I would get a two piece.
  6. Think she'd be ok moving that thing to another wall to take more advantage of the natural light? Maybe add a doily underneath it for a pop of color.
  7. Frickin brrrrr....and I felt cold in a breezy 50 degrees warmer than you were.
  8. Maybe she's trapped there...cut off from the Internet and held like a slave?
  9. Was that a capture from R2's phone?
  10. Ok I had to check. About .007 cents per ml is the other difference.
  11. My second grader showed his work.... 1.75 x 1000 = 1750 1750 - 750 = 1000 1000 / 1000 = 1 looks like doc was right. He worked it out another way, but just as you are right now....I lost interest.
  12. Any updates on this? Curious to see what turns up. Will the right length on the tube expose other issues, or just keep plugging along like it has? Let us know when you know @Chuck Plissken
  13. I can see ARTrooper running for the kids construction paper....I guess there should be a few more qualifiers to that statement.
  14. IOUs are always acceptable. As long as they're green and say federal reserve note on them.
  15. But that part is pretty cross compatible, correct? I think that's the real question of I'm interpereting it right.
  16. Oh you sunuvabitch.....
  17. So, when do we get shoot this pile of parts?
  18. They've definitely been on the no-go list for myself along with a handful of local dealers here. I went into one of my local shops during that timeframe and they had a basic lower marked at $400. I turned and walked out and have never gone back. Everyone marked up somewhat during that period. That's simple economics, but the outright in-your-face gouging turned me off to a good handful of companies. It sucks when you see that they have something at a really good price, but I'll pay more to work with someone I still have respect for.
  19. Free for now...if you can keep it that way. Boise seems to be the current drop load for both good and bad fleeing our messed up state. Welcome me from San Diego.
  20. @RobPLSCA ,these are calling to you.
  21. I think his questions stems from the fact that some may fit, and function, better than others. We always recommend using sam manufacturer upper and lower, but we know there are plenty out there that can and do work fine together. We have also seen cases where things didn't match up perfectly. I can't site specifics, which is why I am refraining from supplying and answer. I'll let someone who's actually done it chime in. My guess for the OP is that yes, the list is long of options that will do just what you need, but hearing from someone who has swapped "x" brand upper onto their DPMS lower would make me more comfortable in my purchase. As to the question of the high rail, low rail...the lower should have no difference. All that would matter with the high/low upper is which hand guards you use and potentially which sights. You shouldn't see a difference in the lowers at all.
  22. What? $100 Pmags is gouging? They called it capatilism, we called it price gouging. They stuck it to us when things looked to be getting ugly. We won't forget that at the first chance, they screwed over their customers. So yeah, in the neck with those dirtbags.
  23. Stick a dowel or something smaller than the tube into it...mark it...then measure that. No need to find another tape.
