  2. I bet he thought that about the war on drugs too. If those law makers get it right, we could completely rid this country of drugs....how's that workin for ya?
  3. When you need to track down a vial for it, here's a good spot. http://www.surveying.com/Products/Vials/Replacement-Vials.aspx
  4. Last night I used the levels that came with the wheeler engineering kit. Pretty low quality bubbles, and I wouldn't recommend them off of just this one use. They have one that sets up across the raceway and a little guy to throw on the scope. Got he gun leveled up(according to their bubble anyways) and threw the little guy on top of the scope.... Brief time out for back story. So, I'm a surveyor. One of the things we constantly deal with are inspectors showing up with their short digital smart levels and slapping them down on the concrete. "2.2%, tear it out." When you have a 2% max slope for the concrete, these guys trust this digital level a little too much. I usually ask when the last time they had it calibrated was. Most don't know and more than one has tried to tell me there is no need as they come perfect from the manufacturer. BS by the way. My second action is to take their level, turn it 180 degrees and set it back down in the same spot. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten a completely different reading this way. "Hmm, 1.8% now. I guess we can take the average and call or 2%. Guess your level needs to be calibrated." ...back to the scope. I can't flip the level on the gun, but I turn the top one and wouldn't you know...slopes to the opposite side from what it was reading before. I averaged it out and it should be fine, but don't just trust a bubble to be true out of the box. We perform check on our equipment constantly because a lot of my work depends on instruments being as perfectly level as humanly possible. <thumbsup>
  5. Routine huh?.....just routine training. We do this stuff all the time. Sure, routine. That's pretty crazy stuff.
  6. I bought my matched JD Machine upper/lower on an impulse buy. I was at a local gun shop known for being overpriced to pick up a couple 5.56 lowers and they had that matched set sitting in the display case....knowing nothing about 308AR's or their pricing I said "give me that one too". I got home and did a little research only to find out I paid around $200 more than what JD sold them for. Oh we'll, it was pretty and I wanted it.
  7. Jack is the only son of Awe Schitt and O. Schitt. Awe Schitt, the fertilizer magnate, married O. Schitt, the owner of Needeep N. Schitt Inc. They had one son, Jack. In turn, Jack Schitt married Noe Schitt, and the deeply religious couple produced 6 children: Holie Schitt, Fulla Schitt, Giva Schitt, Bull Schitt, and the twins: Deap Schitt and Dip Schitt. Against her parent's objections, Deap Schitt married Dumb Schitt, a high school drop out. However, after being married 15 years, Jack and Noe Schitt divorced. Noe Schitt later remarried Ted Sherlock and, because her kids were living with them, she wanted to keep her previous name. She was then known as Noe Schitt-Sherlock. Meanwhile, Dip Schitt married Loda Schitt and they produced a son of nervous disposition, Chicken Schitt. Two other of the 6 children, Fulla Schitt and Giva Schitt, were inseparable throughout childhood and subsequently married the Happens brothers in adual ceremony. The wedding announcement in the newspaper announced the Schitt-Happens wedding. The Schitt-Happens children were Dawg Schitt, Byrd Schitt, and Hoarse Schitt. Bull Schitt, the prodigal son, left home to tour the world. Herecently returned from Italy with his new Italian bride, Pisa Schitt. Tom, that looks killer <thumbsup> I'm going to have to put a few extra days into my vacation when I come out to camp on the range. We can shoot your whole collection...I would love to have that one for a little photo shoot.
  8. Drew, thanks for the PM. I would be glad to take a fww shots of that one. I'm sure the mags in it are not CA compliant, so you will need to ship that over to Tom's house and I will meet him in AZ for the photo shoot. I will have to schedule a day off work to make enough time available to give that gun the treatment it deserves, so keep me posted on when it will ship out. What's that?...you don't remember sending a PM? I mean it did come from Tom's account, but it said this is Drew and I've logged on through 98's account while mine is being updated.... <dontknow>
  9. This gas block is from JD Machine as well. If you blow up the pics of the front you can see their logo cut in it.
  10. That's nuts. Grande nuts. <thumbsup>
  11. Better go after whoever manufactures the cars these criminals drove to the crime scene as well. I mean, they are as much at fault for the situation as the manufacturer of the firearm that was used. While we are at it...somebody call up Nike and Fruit of the Loom. They better get their attorneys prepped. If he didn't have his air Jordan's and his boxer briefs, he would have never been able to leave the house and commit the crime. :cookoo: seriously. Where is the effin logic? People can't really be this dumb....it has to be an act. It's time to draw new lands. I'll move to the middle. The left can have the coast. At least when there are no more guns on the coasts we will be all clear for invasion. We can let other countries clear em all out.
  12. If we put all that money into infrastructure..... 1) Where would we get the money to fund the rest of his handouts? Ombamaphones aren't cheap. And none of the rest of the plans are either. I'm sure you could compromise. I bet he'd be willing to pull it all straight out of the military funding. 2) You would encourage people to drive more and further. We can't have that. We would like you to walk everywhere that way you are confined to your own town. We are easier to manage if we don't move around too much.
  13. <munch> Hurry up. I'm bored and I'm dyin to see your new treasure. <thumbsup>

    Yup

Nope. It's raining and my job sites are closed today...I'm going back to aleep <thumbsup>
  15. What?!?!? Who is the genius behind that one? A battery powered device somehow makes hunting unfair for the game? Maybe we should hunt with sticks and rocks too...just to keep things on an even field. Although, I don't know how close I'd like to get to most game...you read 98z's story on roping a deer right? If not, you gotta track that one down. Fish and "wildlife" as they now call themselves needs to rethink that policy. That's lame.
  16. Those are both pretty damn cool. <thumbsup> People are friggin amazing.
  17. Thanks guys. I like the feel of PRI's. They're pretty beefy and real solid. Would have been perfect if they were a little less expensive. I figured I was deep enough into it anyways, what's a little more? <dontknow>
  18. Figured I would drop this on here. Never posted a completed build photo <thumbsup>
