  1. I would be willing to bet that they never changed the Barrel , & that's why they both had Pits in the Bore . Tubb's final Finnish ammo might help & for the price , might be worth a try , but if you they are as bad as you say , maybe not . Can't hurt to try , for the price of the Tubbs ammo.
  2. What brain does the GBW effect ?
  3. "Is that an N frame in your pants or are you just happy to see me ! "
  4. Its ilegal to make an M16 , unless you have special licensing .
  5. Good question . I've tested just about every mag available for the 308AR & in normal use they all worked fine & I like to dump full mags when testing , over & over again & of course I'm not going to beat them & my AR like he did . I'm pretty sure you can break anything if one wanted to, so that test only means one thing ,he wanted to break them , period . I think only a fool would abuse an AR like the video shows , to test mags . I can probably go on the internet & find someone somewhere who has had an issue with anything , so one internet ninja who has an issue with two of them & they are all bad , give me a break ! I've had well over forty plus years of Metal Mags in all forms of AR's & they most certainly have issues , $hit happens . Use what you like , but if you have no personal experience with something , stick to facts & Ya , that's my girly side.
  6. What ever I have on hand !
  7. New longer stem has shipped , I will photo a comparison when it gets here . No more loosening Seating Stem.
  8. Ford F150 is King , don't ever forget it !
  9. This dead guy should have been deported anyway , they tried ,but he kept slipping through the Berry's Crack . I guess he wanted to leave , & away he went . Too bad he suicide will be used for more riots & Looting .
  10. Interesting how they have a mag well adapter that can be removed to use SR 25 mags . http://kitup.military.com/2016/09/beretta-shows-off-new-csass-7-62mm.html
  11. At least it went to something & back here is not bad .
  12. I find this article kinda strange , lets hear what you all have to say about this new concept . http://www.popularmechanics.com/military/weapons/a23094/this-experimental-army-rifle-uses-telescoped-ammunition/

The B-G2S-E gives a smooth, light 1st stage take up of 2.3lbs and a crisp, candy-cane-like 2nd stage break of 1.2lbs. The B-G2S-E is ideal for use in precision Squad Designated Marksman type rifles where weapon accuracy and reliability are critical. B-GRF (Geissele Rapid Fire) The Geissele Rapid Fire Trigger (B-GRF) was developed to give semiautomatic-only rifles a glass-smooth trigger pull very similar to the Geissele Super Select Fire (SSF) trigger designed for the U.S. Special Operations Community . The B-GRF is a fast-shooting, smooth trigger ideal for 3 Gun competition and recreational shooting alike. It pulls like a single-stage, but resets like a two-stage. Two trigger springs are included so the B-GRF can be set up with a pull of either 4 lbs or 3.2 lbs. Does NOT convert semiautomatic rifles to automatic. Note: The B-GRF trigger has a very short, light pull and reset. It is not recommended for bench rest shooting or shooting small groups. It is designed for CQB-style rapid target engagement and quick follow up shots. 14. No gun , & they don't care if its a good shoot or not , they just want to tear the world apart . Its already no a peaceful demonstration , its another Riot , as usual , nothing new , no waiting for the facts , because these people don't care . I want to know , when these people figure out that , IF THESE DEAD PEOPLE FOLLOWED INSTRUCTIONS ,THEY WOULD STILL BE BREATHING ! period .
  15. S&W 's issue may be like my last two I bought , they were recalled a couple weeks after I bought them . No more for me . I agree , its all about how comfortable you are with a Hand Gun , if its uncomfortable , it will show in your shooting capabilities . I know the XDM's are not made in the USA , but I have a few of them & all feel good in my hand . I'm also a 1911 man , they are just natural feeling , with some minor adjustments in grip & Main Spring housing, for me . I just don't understand why the USA can't have a Hand Gun that doesn't fit the Military's requirements . I believe its not that big of challenge , of course ,if its fixed , that can not be overcomed , with any Pistol. Damn Sisco , that N frame is a big hunk of metal to be packing .
  16. So this means that we will have another Military weapon made by another Country . Not that I think S&W is a superior firearm , but surely their has to be a US company that can fit the bill , WTF
  17. Photo's ?
  18. My reply to him for the size of my seating stem was 2.509" & here is their reply, That does sound a bit short from what is currently going into the Die, if you would send me your address, i would be happy to send you a longer Seating Stem. Scott FORSTER PRODUCTS Great Company to change out such a small item , he could have given me a part # & I would have just ordered a longer one they had .
  19. They did say they were going to replace the Dune Buggy .
  20. So your saying , when you hold in the Bolt Catch , with the BCG all the way to the rear , the Bolt Catch will not engage the Bolt face & hold it open ? Or with an empty Mag ( of any Brand ) & you pull the BCG back all the way , it also will not engage the Bolt face & hold the BCG back or open ? I keep hearing some people say that you have to break in a factory 308AR for it to function properly , why would you need to do that I ask , does anyone need to do that with other Firearms, right out of the box ? Now to have a sufficient round count for a duty or firearm used in any kind of combat or work related use , where your life or others lives may depend on said firearm , yes, I would want to make sure it had sufficient round count that I could depend on it , but thats a whole different matter . Its not that its not working , your just getting piece of mind . Its not like a good buck may get away because your firearm malfunctioned or the paper target got away because the firearm didn't work , if you get my meaning . A home build is a different matter all together . I sold Firearms for over twenty years & never had a factory Firearm brought back because it malfunctioned or wouldn't work , not one , maybe I was lucky , but thats a lot of luck , we are not just talking about class one firearms , we are talking about class three also. Your G2 should work right out of the box , period , if it doesn't , send it back , thats why it has a warranty on it by the manufacturer. They could have a machining process that was not complete or a worn tool out of spec's & they got a run of them & of course they will not say anything , to have two in a sort time span , I'll bet there are more . Put you original components back in & send it back , if you have them still . They can effect BCG movement . Thats another question , did it act this way before you changed them out ? Also , I only have one AR with a Ambi. Safety & it gets in my way a little too , but its for my lefty wife anyway.
  21. Didn't we just recently have a thread about the same thing & one of the DPMS Tech's say the G2 was not meant to use PMags ? This one https://forum.308ar.com/topic/13375-dpms-hunter-g2-308-problem/
  22. I had the C.O.L. too long , the Bullet was hitting the free bore of the Chamber & getting stuck there ( Wilson Combat Barrel ) , its why I had to Mortar the rifle to get them out . I reseated the Bullets to 2.000" COL & they feed & extract fine now .I have shot a lot of the 110 gr. V Max & this is the first issue I have had with it & I'm sure it was a quality control issue on my part . I have not heard from Forster yet , I emailed them yesterday about a longer Seating stem so this doesn't occur again . The Forster die is a Bench rest Die , I like how it secures the Bullet before it is seated into the Case. Well , I just did. Thanks for contacting us about this, could you measure with your calipers and tell me the overall length of the stem you have currently. We do have some different lengths of the 308 Seating Stem, if i know the length of the one you have currently i can help be sure we have a longer one to accommodate your 300 AAC Bench Rest Seater. 23. FIFY I knew what you meant . The RCBS was probably a Roll Crimp & was the same type & Brand of Dis I used when first reloading for the .223 & set back the case shoulder . I have also started to Trim my cases for the 300BLK to 1.355 " now , I was Trimming them @ 1.360" , not sure that had anything to do with it , but with a Max case length of 1.368" , it was a little close for my liking . I have to admit , the 300BLK is just plain fun to shoot . I was using 150's, 130's , 125's & 110 gr. loads & they all worked & printed great , all shooting off hand , well ,until the last ten or so , that is .
