  1. Its all the Bad press & I don't think most have kept up with the advances in the AR rifles , both in Calibers & accuracy . I killed a nice Buck in West Virginia with an M1 Garand , those guys were amazed .
  2.  Well , what you got available ?

There has been a development, sorry about the delay. There's a local kid, a kiss ass pos, who works at radical firearms and is dating the owners niece,  he found out some of us bought them from the scrapyard so RF was raising hell threatening everyone with lawsuits, spreading rumors of illegal weapons manufacture.

That means he is an idiot , because a scrapped hand guard has nothing to do with manufacturing a firearm. Scrap is scrap . If its an issue , I can live with out a new project or two , no problem .

I'm going to get a Sampson Evo EX 9 ,HG for the Superlative Piston system I have coming .

  3. I'm sure some will line the pockets of the Elite there , but ya , they have to buy their toy's .
  4. B.A.D. has this new one , but it shows special order only , maybe ask them from here direct. http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/bolt-parts/bolt-catch-parts/bolt-catches/enhanced-bolt-catch-black-prod87363.aspx?lp_pageid=add2&cm_sp=Secondary+Banner-_-Lower+Homepage+Feature-_-HHP_New_Products
  5. I practice at arms length, but also at other yardages out to 20 yards , I don't practice for speed any more , because I figure if its going to happen It will happen a lot faster then you think anyway . I practice at moderate speed , making sure every thing works . Pulling the firearm, no body or support hand parts in the way & making sure I hit where I mean to . I think speed practice is good , but making sure it all works is much safer , maybe because I'm older now & I still use hostages targets also , you have to slow down a little with a perp holding a hostage , its pretty much head shots only . That young man is fas though .
  6. Hell , I made a youtube account ( for another reason ) & it still wouldn't let me watch it , it reads "Its Private " I guess I didn't want to see it .
  7. I'm not from Indiana ! Me too or dead ! Thats some sick $hit & its they way they are brought up in those neanderthal countries & don't mind taking us down to their level .
  8. 7.62 x 35 ( 300 BLK ), a very versatile round , If you already have an AR 15 , you can buy or build a dedicated upper in 300BLK & have another rifle caliber . If you are a hand loader or want to use a Suppressor , this round in a sub sonic load is quieter then a 9MM . I have loaded , .30 cal.,150 gr. ,135 SMK , 130 gr, Speer Varmint HP's, 125 Gr. SMK's , 110 gr. Barnes ( one of the best ) & 110 VMax Hornady' s , the 110"s are in the 2200-2500 FPS area . The sub sonic's are in the 220-180 gr, bullet range There are factory loads for a lot of these Bullets around , all this with a std AR 15 BCG & Magazines , only the Barrel ( 300BLK ) & Muzzle break ( 5/8 x24 " thread size, 308 ) are different . A great little round that is a pure pleasure to shoot & can hunt with the big boys.
  9. What is this sign in crap to view the video , there's a couple more you put in the another thread, I wanted to view .

If the O-Ring is too loose , it will pass gas & not let the piston function properly. The badly fouled Piston will not help things , but it takes a lot for the piston to fail , if its real loose on the Magazine tube ,it will , but the O-Ring is the normal wear component & causes the most issues . I have a 10 pak of O-Rings that still have some in it , I used to hand them out like candy at Hunt camp .
  12. I fly my flag during elections & days before Independence day , where I fly Old Glory , like all Holidays . I do need a hat !
  13. Do you plan on shooting long range Match's ? If I were going to be into long range professional shooting the Kreiger would be logical . If just a very good shooting rifle for target practice /Hunting , normal ranges or long range I would go with the Criterion . I'm biased also , because I own three Criterion Barrels , the 20"HB & 16"HB's are Fulton Armory, Kreiger/Criterion & my 18" Hybrid is a full Criterion & they all shoot better then I ever will . When I was younger & had fresh eyes , I could wring much more out of them then now . The 20" is a one hole grouping rifle , the 18" is very close to that & the 16" will keep up with both of them , I don't have a range past 200 yards , so I cannot test to anything further , but i'm confident , they will do the job at much greater distances also.
  14. These people are out of this world & I have had about enough of it . http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/08/05/federal-agency-says-wearing-dont-tread-on-me-hat-could-be-racial-harassment.html
  15. I'm sure its a mistake , they surely know how to delete stuff http://insider.foxnews.com/2016/08/04/judge-andrew-napolitano-report-atf-stockpiling-gun-owner-info
  16. Warne maxima QD's , if going with individual rings . As said solid Rings .
  17. I was sitting out back of a A/C job call waiting for them to come back from lunch & I heard this Piston air craft from behind me , I was looking out over lake Erie & over head , low was a B17 , man was that cool , would have been nice to see both of them do a fly over .
  18. And the Barrel is where most of the weight is . The 18" is still a strong profile & in my testing shot well , hot or cold .
  19. I have an early Kreiger Criterion Barrel from Futon Armory & its S/S HB with a rifle length gas system , but my Gas Block is 0.936" so its got to heavier then the ones from ADM , if I were to get another on in 16" I would go with the Hybrid , every ounce makes a difference in these 308AR's . Mine shoots very well , but as said its a much different barrel . I have an 18" Hybrid that's Nitrated I got last year from Criterion & it is 1/2 MOA if I do my part with hand loads . I like their Barrels , I have a 20"HB from Fulton , Kreiger Criterion also .
  20. Not my cup of tea , but some may dig it . http://www.brownells.com/manufacturers/MAXIM DEFENSE INDUSTRIES/index.htm?lp_pageid=maxim&utm_medium=email&utm_source=marketo&utm_campaign=080416_newproduct&utm_content=newproducts&cm_mmc=email-_-marketo-_-080416_newproduct-_-newproducts&mkt_tok=eyJpIjoiWVdWaU9XVTBaR0UzT0dFeSIsInQiOiJHU3NaMVdKenFzTFVsK1M2c1pEcFwvTEJudlwvXC9uUnNvWkJJcDBuK0lWU3JEUUk3cVc0OG1NUUxPSFpuYlFaMWhMaklqamExbTBNd3VLKzNJODZuVTQzdTdSTHJhWWcrallGUk1XUkdBRmNiaz0ifQ%3D%3D
  21. I don't see it saying anything about it being a Armalite parts kit .
  22. Sounds like excessive Gas Port size , damn pistol should be a small hole , thats a lot of pressure , right there .
  23. Has any one here burnt up a std Gas Tube , not talking about the Videos where they go out of their way to burn up or blow up an AR . The straight Tube , does make some sense if you are worried about the slight bends as a restriction , but who has had an issue with that ? I can see the use of an adj. Gas Block for using a suppressor , but for anything else , one is not needed . Far too many rifles out there working flawlessly with std DI system for a need of one . Hey, if you have the $$ burning a hole in your pocket & want one , go for it & don't forget a review here .
