  1. I see they have the BCG @ $ 299.99 with sale code.
  2. I just got the Horton cocking rope set up & its like a different crossbow to pull back now , almost like pulling back nothing. Not handy caped yet, you can hunt in Ohio with Bow or Crossbow the full archery season. I also have the new VooDoo bolts coming to try out next to std bolts . This is going to be interesting. I can't wait to bow hunt again . I used a compound bow for over twenty years to hunt .
  3. Ok , I , yes me , have a dilemma . I can not choose between a Nikon , Monarch, 4x16x42 & a Nikon , Buckmaster , 6x18x40 . I know the price difference & some quality differences between the two , but that means nothing . I want the scope for mid range shooting, so talk me in to or out of one or the other. The Monarch is mil dot & the Buckmaster is a BDC reticule .
  4. I like the Vortex line . I have one of there red/green dot sights on my POF,5.56 build & I simply like it big time . Could be because I never used one much before , but it is on the money , shot after shot .
  5. Reloading is the way to go if you like playing with you ammo, so many choices , but todays factory cartridge combo's were unheard of, just a few years ago. LC brass is top of the line with me ,for the price , of course. I can think of better brass , but at what cost ?
  6. The Hornady V Max bullets look similar to the Barnes Mil Tac's ( or what ever that are called ), that I have been wanting to try.
  7. Yes , you mostly get what ya pay for , but that doesn't mean the second or third best will not do the same job. And my Millet 4x16 x50 surprised me with its quality & precision & is built like a tank. I have many Nikon & Burris scopes that will do the same job as a $ 2K scope, but you are right , they may not be as clear or have all the bells & whistles , but do the job as needed.
  8. Natchez I got a email from Midway saying they were in as an alert , by the time I responded they were all gone , three minutes , from the email time & me to check it . I had already ordered them from Natchez , so no problem & I think they were less expensive also. I look through Natchez almost hourly when at home , just to catch things I need , my list now very small a days .
  9. I fix every thing or rebuild it . Because when I'm done , I know it was done right . Except stupid , I can't for the life of me , fix that !
  10. Got some 110 gr. Hornady Vmax on the way to try out also.
  11. Looks like a pistol length gas system , no wonder .
  12. My 16" 300BLK also has a Carbine gas system.
  13. Pistol length gas system .
  14. Does DPMS make a Gas block with a rail for that barrel ?
  15. The cal. depends on what you have already ,plus a bunch of other factors. You can get another upper & have both or you can consider all the advantages of a .30 cal. in your AR 15. I got over 2400 fps out of my 300BLK with Barnes 110 , with no pressure signs & sure I can get more out of this combo , but ya can't go wrong with 5.56/.223. Choices , Choices ! ummmmm
  16. Removable sights are a product of the full length rail system , for those who want Iron sights with the rail , be it BUIS or just to use an Iron sight type like an A2 rifle sights . They are removable & just as secure as a scope mounted. Its all about the rail.
  17. Jgun, I use a single stage press for all my target loads & hunting ammo I make for others. I feel I have better control of quality with one, just me Load with what ever you are comfortable with, your have made a good choice of a press , go with it . How's your competition shooting going with the 300BLK ?
  18. I agree . different manufactures & unmatched receivers, can cause tolerance differences , but I think the trigger had something to do with it here , a simple polishing of the surfaces, with a stone, took care of the problem . Need I add that, stock triggers suck & I can blame them for all my bad shoots & mechanical woes . If you assemble or repair enough firearms , fitment problems will sooner or later come up .Any safety or selector should be installed by competent personnel.
  19. 16 " barrel is fine for any thing from close to far as you need it .
  20. Stock milspec trigger group , A Geissele trigger or ALG/ACT or a Spikes enhanced will be in soon.
  21. I got my safety from B A D , yesterday & it sure is a nice piece of work, very well done with the levers Creocoated , in Foliage green, to match the stock, pistol & fore grip. Install was straight forward enough, fitment is as would be expected, my problem was the hammer would not drop after re-assembly, disassembled again to check for any burr's on the tail part of the trigger , because it fely like it was hanging up on some thing . Stoned the tail to make sure nothing would hang up on it , re-assembled & the hammer dropped the first pull , but was inconsistent in letting the hammer drop , so a dab of grease on the sear surfaces & a spray of CLP in the FCG & the hammer drops every time . This carbine is a new build & this FCG is not going to stay , I use it & another one for start up, for builds & testing ( because they work ). & before ya ask , the rifle functioned fine with the other safety . I can say this , this is a nice product & will be changing out the other AR's in my stable to these & the two builds I have going will get them from the start. I can see a FDE colored one for my 16" 308, to match its furniture . Good job , B A D.
  22. That would be true , if they all added equipment & work force , but most have said ( & with good economic sense for a manufacturer , as you have stated )that they have not added any thing . I see no influx of ammo to the distributors on line or dealers shelves here in Florida. There is some thing not right about this picture, if they are pumping out this quantity of ammo , where is it all ?
  23. Rainer Arms, show NIB coated 308 BCG,s for $ 323 in stock , for those who may need one . If I didn't have a BCG on back order I would order one . It reads in stock, at least that's what it shows.
  24. My first look at your product & I can see why these guy's here like them so much. Nice work .
