  1. My new one is all Stainless steel & electric , they only thing the wife misses is the timer , have to plug it in to start it . I suppose I could hook one up , but why , I don, myself use one Made a 12 cup this morning , great cup of Coffee
  2. Nice, good list to have . Found four in that last ten that I had issues with were S&B , then two more in the new reloads . I stoped shooting the last time when I had issues with some of the last ten I had . Showing 0.336-7" & LC & RP 300BLK showing 0.330 " at neck of case . Crazy its the first time I came upon this & also crazy they were all in the last ten or so I tried to shoot , because I must have went through 200-250 rounds before I got to those last ten or so . I only use LC also , these must be from when I first loaded for the 300BLK , just were never cycled in the rifle & the last time out with the 300BLK , I made a point of using all the old stuff , what a way to find out about the brass . Ya just never stop learning , at least till you DIE ! Might want to make a sticky of that list of Brass
  3. I put this Thread here because it may not effect any other Cartridge in Reloading . I was trying some hand loads using a new Bullet I just got yesterday , Nosler Varmageddon 110 gr. tipped , I made a dummy round & tried it out out & even though its COL was 2.000" ( which should not have an issue ) , it stuck in the chamber & had to be Mortared out , so I seated the Bullet @ 1.950" & fed it into the chamber from a mag & it stuck again . I got another case & seated the Bullet & it functioned fine , then did another after setting the COL back @ 2.000", & it functioned fine , so now I look at the first dummy round & nothing looked out of the ordinary , took some measurements & find that compared to the other two , this first one , its a S&B cut down & formed 5.56x45 case , is larger in diameter at the case neck area. The other two , both LC Milspec cut down & formed 5.56x45 are almost exactly the same dia., well , it can't be the bullet , I checked just to make sure , so I pulled the Bullet this S&B & the other two , what I found was interesting , the case wall thickness of the S&B was 0.014"& the two others were 0.011" That 0.003 has to be why the case stuck in the Chamber. The RP 300BLK Brass are also 0.011" thickness , so how this S&B case got in the mix , must of been one of the first I formed a couple years ago , because all I use now are LC 5.56 brass & what RP 300BLK I have left . I have to look at all my reloads now to see if I had any more of these S&B 5.56 brass . The last time I had this rifle at the range , I had some issues with the case sticking in the Chamber , on the last batch that I shot , I think it was the last ten , now that i think about it & I thought it was the Hornady Amax ,that I thought at the time had a too long of a COL, I have reset the COL on them , now I have to look at the cases . The S&B must have a thicker case wall at the area leading up to the shoulder , because as we all know , thats where we cut them down to reform them .
  4. All I have to say is , my Percolator POS coffee maker just made a great pot of Coffee . Took one Pot to get the mix correct , man was the first one like Expresso , damn ! Don't follow anyones instructions & I used the Pots Manufacturers directions . I did my own from experience from the one I have at hunt camp & its great , drinking it now . Can't wait for my Black rifle Beans to come in .
  5. I remember a rather large bruised area , myself after fighting the big ones , with out a harness .Took a couple of weeks to go away .
  6. No , but had an Eye Doc said he could fix me up a pair of glasses just for shooting .
  7. I had a very early CMMG Lower up until late last year , I had a Billet SI Defense Gen. II Upper on it & it worked fine with any Metal Mag I used in it , just did not work reliably with the first Gen. of Magpul LR Pmags > I tried just about everything to get it to work with those Mags. , but gave up on them & just used Metal Mags , then Magpul Came out with the Gen 3 LR PMags & they worked fine in it . Not sure how the CMMG & Aero will play together , only way to know is to mate them & go from there . The Rifle liked Lancer L7's from the get go .
  8. Damn ! lucky , lucky . When that front went by us last night at about 2330 , I thought a Hurricane was here .
  9. Keep with the Lowers Manufacturer for the Upper Receiver or an Assembly . PSA has not played well with others from what we have seen , maybe that changed with their Gen. 2 . I would not call it a G2 , as that might confuse it to the Small framed DPMS G2 308AR .
  10. This is really cool , might have to try it with mine , if its legal here .
  11. Did you watch the video of the Full Auto POF that surpassed all AR's in a round count test & wouldn't stop working , though a little slow in full auto , it still worked , its around here somewhere , someone posted it , I will see if I can find it . Disclamer , more then likely , the factory went over this rifle for the test & who knows what they did that would differ from a floor model , but maybe not .
  12. Its milSpec Ball ammo , it will work & in a Barrel in good shape ,it may or may not , print MOA , but will shoot good enough for plinking . As said above , every rifle /Barrel will be different & you will have to try some in each to see how it works . I like the Brass for my reloads .
  13. Let me get this straight , you are gaining experience with coffee making by transporting Coffee makers in the back of a Truck ? Sorry brother , I could resist .
  14. http://www.adamsarms.net/adams-arms-small-frame-308-pbr http://www.adamsarms.net/adams-arms-small-frame-308-patrol-enhanced "An upgraded version of the small frame short-stroke piston AR-style rifle"
  15. My Nikon only has a two year warranty & its out of warranty now .
  16. None of those listed are Piston Gas system Rifles . Try POF , Ruger , Adam Arms ,
  17. What area in Fla. you at , I would like to stretch my legs a little , no where in my area that has anything much more then 200yards . I'm in St Augustine . The BiPods & bags should take care of any slight adj. you may need , I would think . I alway put a folded rag or a small piece of carpet under the legs of my Bipod , when shooting from a Bench , wooden benches are not that bad , but the cement ones will give feed back when shooting .
  18. Good your back , now update the Hot chick thread
  19. Hope this helps , I can't hold my PC upside down for long
  20. Quote of the month. “I don't know (nor do I care) how many attended Trump's inauguration. But I can tell you exactly how many people attended Hillary's inauguration. And that's the only number that matters.”
  21. OK , so I got curious & took some 300BLK reloaded ammo made on my Dillon 550B & did some tests with the Concentricity Gage & had some interesting results , Bullets were seated with a Forster Match Seater Die , three different Bullets , From left to right , all 110gr. , Hornady Vmax, Sierra Varmint HP , Barnes TSX I tried to set the Dial Indicator right at the junction at the Case Mouth ,but on the Bullet . zero'ed the DI at the lowest reading , just to show the max run out . Hornady Vmax , got any where from 0.005" & a couple at 0.008" , but most were in the 0.005" The Sierra Varmint was 0.002" consistently Now the Barnes TSX , was scary , almost no run out , at all & I did every one I had loaded . I'm not sure what to make of this , the instructions read or should I say the Trouble shooting instructions read , it could be , because they are all Flat base Bullets , the chamfering of the case may not be letting the FB Bullets align going into the case , my question is , then why did the Barnes align perfectly , maybe they have a slight BT to them , I'm going to have to pull one now to see . Or is the shape of the Bullet in the Seater Die have an effect on its outcome .
  22. Silencer Smooth Coffee Blend × 1 Whole Bean $12.99 AK-47 Espresso Blend × 1 Whole Bean $12.99 Last week I ordered a Percolator coffee maker & am retiring the ( what I call a mr. coffee type maker ) Coffee maker I have . I haven't had a Percolator maker since I was first married & got one for a wedding present . We always said it was the best coffee we ever had .It should be here tomorrow , too bad the coffee will take a while longer .
  23. Just ordered some of this coffee beans ( we have a Grinder & like to use it ) Veteran owed & operated . Said he would hire 10K Vets to counter Fukbucks coffee . http://www.blackriflecoffee.com
  24. Even if a child was shot & killed , where the Bullet came from would be hard to prove , unless it has someones name on it & it left an imprint on the wound . Great propaganda , they use that crap all the time . I'm surprised they didn't say a doz. children were killed !
  25. Not my statistics , I read it some where , but ya , could be more then one category & it could have changed through the years .
