  1. Welcome from central Florida. How'd you fare with Andrea?
  2. It's my new desk top back ground. Thanks.
  3. The crazies are inspired by other crazies. They crave the notariety.
  4. Nice looking little CCW piece. Let us know how it performs.
  5. OMG! I shoot .40 too. Ain't it great? Hilarious.
  6. Just found out that Beretta sells grip frames for the Nano in four colors @ $39 each. Pink, black, flat dark earth and olive drab. You know I gotta order the FDE.
  7. Welcome from Florida
  8. Ordered a Beretta Nano last Sunday and it was waiting for me at work today. This is the first Nano I've handled and so far I'm reasonably impressed. It's small, almost exactly the same size as the Kahr PM9 but slightly thinner, I think, and slightly heavier by about 2ozs. It's a nice looking pistol, typical Beretta, with an all flat black finish. The Nano has no manual slide lock, which is fine by me, but does lock open after the last round is fired. I prefer to release the slide slingshot style anyway. The pistol has no manual safety but does have a trigger safety and striker block a la Glock. The striker block pops up on top of the slide similar to it's full sized siblings. The front and rear sights can both be removed with the push of a recessed plunger. The fire control module and polymer grip frame can be easily seperated much like the SIG P250. I don't know if Beretta is planning conversions like the SIG P250. The Nano was shipped with one flush six round magazine and one eight round extended magazine with grip extension. The disassembly lever is also flush and operated with the rim of a 9mm casing, making both sides of the Nano slick as a baby's butt. There is a flush striker release button on the right side of the frame for disassembly purposes. The trigger is long and kinda heavy, reminiscent of a DA revolver trigger, but I've had no trouble holding on target with a Laser Ammo practice laser installed in the chamber. I've ordered a fitted leather holster for it and am looking forward to carrying it just as soon as it proves itself. I'm liking this little pistol so far.
  9. ^ And now I just ordered a leather belt holster for the Nano.
  10. Just ordered me a Beretta Nano 9mm. It's so cute, it's almost like a real gun, only smaller. :))
  11. Blackhawk Askins concealment holster came in yesterday. Like I said, this is not my first one, so, I knew I'd like it. This holster is very well built in Italy of heavy leather with reinforced holster mouth for easy re-holstering, plastic sight track sewn into the holster and a tensioning screw, all at a bargain price less than $60. Fit is perfect and this holster holds the big SIG P226 in tight to my body. You can't tell I'm carrying. I also own a Blackhawk CQC Serpa Kydex holster for this pistol and even though it's a great holster it wasn't meant for concealment. I'll be buying more of these Askins holsters.
  12. Just ordered two magazines for my Kahr P45. I really like that pistol, a lot.
  13. Looks kinda like a Ringling Bros., Barnum & Bailey special with that extended mag inserted. Do you wear a clown nose with it too? :)) JK, I'd be tickled to have the extra rounds when reloading.
  14. Looks like the grip will be mighty long with one of those locked into your P220. These are just for reload, right?
  15. LMAO!
  16. No problem, will do. I've been using one of these for a few years with my SA XDm9. It holds that big pistol in nice and tight to your body. And the XDm9 is pretty heavy with twenty rounds on tap. I'm expecting the P226 to ride just as well.
  17. Ordered a Blackhawk Aikens concealment holster for my P226.
  18. Those new berkas for 2013 are looking pretty good.
  19. Dead's dead. But, I was kinda hoping they'd use a Daisy Red Rider, a whole bunch of shots. Ding Dong the witch is dead, the wicked witch, the witch is dead.
  20. ^ OUCH!
  21. Thankfully, for her, it's just an air rifle.
  22. It'll show up someday, then I'll have two extras.
  23. Installed the new parts. Trigger pull is even lighter now. Very light for a combat pistol. Managed to launch the striker spring guide across the room never to be heard from again. Robbed the guide off my SA XD-40 V10, (it hasn't even been loaded in five years), to get the XDm-9 up and running. Ordered a couple spares today. One to replace the lost one and one, well, because I've seen me work on guns before.
  24. It takes awhile to accumulate a nice lint collection like that. You have to be dedicated.
  25. I'm wearing the XDm9 today so I took a photo for you.
