  1. 22's are the ideal platform for supressors. They go together. Every small game rifle should be supressed IMO.
  2. I've practiced racking the slide on a hard edge with the laser many times without any damage. My only complaint is the battery cap begins to loosen after it's been fired 50 rounds or so and if you over tighten the cap to try to prevent this the laser malfunctions. Since the laser is still on it's first set of batteries and it looks like they will last for quite a while between changes, I may add a tiny drop of blue LockTite to try to prevent this design flaw. Otherwise, I'm a big fan.
  3. With a ton of added "fun factor". Important with rimfires.
  4. I'd imagine a local machine shop could remedy that for you.
  5. More parts for the XDm-9. A PRP titanium striker indicator, titanium striker safety and the reduced weight springs these titanium parts will allow me to use. Supposed to reduce the pull weight even further.
  6. Drew, I want that B&C stock. Everytime I see it the lust monster rises up.
  7. It's accurate enough. Certainly minute of squirrel. Just not as accurate as my Anschutzes, Volquartsens, Win. 75 Target, Izhmash CM-2 and the like. Of course, it wasn't intended to be. But those rifles are well over the OP's $500 budget.
  8. Try a CMMG .22lr upper for you AR-15. imschur turned me onto the CMMG Sierra and altough far from my most accuirate .22lr rifle (I own a lot of .22lr rifles) it's certainly one of the most fun. And everytime I pull the trigger I get to use that expensive AR-15 lower.
  9. Holy Crap! Could that pistol be accidentally fired with the buffer group swung to the side? That'd make for a bad day.
  10. OK, I lied. I just ordered the PRP titanium striker safety, titanium striker indicator and the reduced power springs these titanium parts will allow me to use. Supposed to drop another half pound off the trigger pull. Would've ordered their polished striker except they were out of stock. I'll end up getting it soon enough. This firearm drought is going to result in me doo-dading up a bunch of firearms I already own. Gotta satisfy my firearm shopping bug somehow, don't I?
  11. for now, maybe. I received the Powder River Precision Ultimate Match Trigger Kit Monday and installed it Tuesday. What a difference! Like day and night. Trigger is light at about 3.5# with a very short take up and very short reset. I'm in love. The kit took three or four hours of fitting because I didn't buy the drop in kit and the new sear and trigger over travel stop needed a bit of filing which I did in small increments requiring disassembly and reassembly of the pistiol numerous times. It was worth the efffort though. I can recommend this kit if you have the patience. My finger tips are very sore today.
  12. Karma's a bitch, ain't it?
  13. Sent chills down my spine.
  14. I love hunting.
  15. I'm late to the party. Welcome from Florida Bubbasks.
  16. Powder River Precision Ultimate Match Trigger kit for my SA XDm-9.
  17. Are you sure the barrel is 14.5" ? Because that will be a stumbling point, being a 14.5" barrel makes your rifle a NFA SBR. Or is the flash supressor permanently attached to make the minimum 16" barrel length?
  18. I'll take two.
  19. Loose Loosely translated. A hairless beaver is a happy beaver.
  20. It's a bitch living in the "Confiscation State" these days huh? Hopefully things will take a turn for the better.
  21. That's great. I'd buy from him.
  22. I'll bet he thinks twice about throwing rocks at dogs in the future.
  23. I never expected to get the $1100, I just wanted to leave some negotiation room but this guy just jumped right on it. He didn't ask for a cent off. Here's a photo I took for The Florida Gun Trader. .
