Sent my SIG P226 back to SIG for E2 grips and short reset trigger.

OK, I called SIG today and paid my $254.90 for the E2 grip, short reset trigger, shipping both ways and received my FEDEX label. I'm folowing Robo's advice on this and think this will be just what the Dr ordered. Thanks Rob. I'm wearing it today with it's 9mm upper installed and here's a photo. I'll post photos and review when I get it back.

My prescription glasses double as my shooting glasses. They're polycarbonate lenses in titaniam frames. Luclily, they've never been tested, but I was assured they could handle the job.

Daisy used to sell caseless .22 cal ammo and the rifles to shoot it in. Didn't work worth a crap, crumbled in the mag tube and on the feed ramp more often that not. It was a cool idea though. I think the rifles and ammo are collectable now.

It could be a great aid in a post defensive situation also.

I've decided that Rob's advice is sound and am going to get the E2 grips and the short reset trigger. I think I'll finally like this pistol as well as it deserves to be liked. Photos when it's returned from SIG.

A customer just came in with one looking for a holster. It has the threaded barrel, suppressor sights, ACOG RMR sight (fiber optic only) and is stainless over black polymer. It didn't need wooden grips because I was instantly sporting enough wood for both the pistol and me. I got so hard it pulled the wrinkles out of my face. Damnation I want that thing. I offered him $700 for it and he's considering the offer. I think it would be a steal, what do ya'll think?

install the E2 grip and short reach trigger since I find the double action reach a stretch. I shoot it well but my grip is a little off center with the DA trigger position. Could be a problen if I ever had to use the pistol in an hurry. Anyone have input on this?

I shoot it's baby brother, the .17HM2. What a fun little cartridge. You should see what it does to a squirrel's head, and the recoil is so mild you can see the impact through the scope. I own three rifles in .17HM2 and luckily, about 15,000 rounds of Eley for them.

The XD pistols use SIG sights. Whatever fits the P226 fits the XD pistols.
