My new Bullhide gunbelt just arrived. This thing is thick and stiff. Just what's needed to hold a pistol close to your body. It almost didn't want to go around me it's so stiff. They said to order it 4" larger than your pant's waist size. Don't believe them, it's almost too big. Way down on the next to last hole. If I loose five pounds it'll be too big and I'll be punching new holes. Quality looking belt though.

My brother shot a guy with a Winchester Black Talon .45ACP right through the calf Broke his leg. Which is pretty mild considering the BT's reputation at the time. We expected the BG's head to pop off. ;D

I was talking with a guy at the shop yesterday and the conversation turned to ammunition when he showed me his new SIG Nightmare. I showed him my magazine loaded up with Black Talon .45ACP and he lit up. Asked if I had any more and I said "sure, maybe seven boxes at home". He immediately began begging me to sell him some and I told him "no, I can't replace it". Then he upped the antie by offering me $100 per box of twenty!!! Sold them to him today, too much money to refuse. I can't believe how much some folks are willing to pay for a box of ammo. I also have about ten boxes of .357 mag Black Talon and three or four boxes of .30-06 Black Talon at home. I'm glad I bought them all those years back now.

Looks heavy. I don't like heavy firearms in my old age. But it does look "technical".

When I used to live in Chistochina Alaska I watched these bush planes do this everyday. I was never ceased to be amazed. Riding in these stripped down Pipers will scare the hell out of you.

Just ordered a new gun belt from Bullhide Belts. 1.5" wide .25" thick bull hide. Anyone have experience with this company?

all this week and one thing I can tell you for sure is DAMN! that thing is eat up with the ugly. Good thing it works well. Just a passing thought.

I read a story of someone caught trying to bring a handgun into Disney World Orlando. They were escorted to the security office underground, given a ownership form to fill out and asked for their ID to photocopy. Then given a labeled plastic bag to seal the pistol into. The bagged pistol was locked in a safe and the patron was given a receipt to claim the pistol upon leaving. He said that Disney was quite polite during the process.

No, I'm pretty well stocked with what I need and only have wants on my shopping list. Not going to pay gouger prices for wants.
