  1. These seem to pop up every decade or so. Still want to try a set out.
  2. I do this with coffee cups at the Circle K.
  3. I couldn't not watch!
  4. Never heard of it. All on you to report about it! :auto:
  5. Glad I caught that. <laughs>
  6. Anyone remember the ol' "10mm vs. .45acp"?
  7. Sized and deprimed about 1200 9mm cases.
  8. Great article! Thanks brother!
  9. Kind of like the differences between the standoff in Waco by the feds, and the standoff with the Indian tribe up in Canada about the same time and RCMP. RCMP waited the "hooligans" out for like 5 months, peacefully resolved. In many parts of the country it IS too late. Divides are getting deeper. Even locally…I see county deputies and all the smaller agencies leaning towards working with the public, TPD as enforcing the will of the city.
  10. Why they passed "constitutional carry" here in Arizona, thank a few cops up in your area. Someone would get into an altercation, draw a pistol, bad guys run and good guy calls cops. Cops ask "What happened?" Guy says "A punk with a knife demanded my wallet, so I pulled out my gun, kid ran off." "So you brandished your pistol?" Tucson is why they passed "State pre-emption". Got to work hard to stop those Cali-immigrants crossing the river. :bat:
  11. Aw who cares?! GET IT!! It's not like you live in a state where rogue federal agencies do lame things to set-up patsies, looking forward to bonfires Waco-style, or anything like that.
  12. Texas has (or had) no "open carry" provisions. If you had a CCW permit, your pistol was to REMAIN concealed at all times. It is one of the warnings we give to people in our CCW classes. Last time I was over there in Texas, they were hard at work to make open carry legal.
  13. Had an acquaintance with one bought new, he owned it for 8 months. Of those 8 months, it was in the shop for 6 months. Kept breaking an axle just driving around town.
  14. Anybody else get a registration packet from the VA? I don't presently use the VA for bennies, as I feel those should be for lifers or those injured while serving. But if I DID use the VA, with the crap they've been pulling coupled with Obamacare crap, it would raise some serious flags.
  15. I've had several people go through our simulator (Milo, makes FATS look like an early NES video game) totally change their opinion of police. We have the ability to chang the course of the scenario as it is running…shoot, fist attack, comply, fake comply, second attacker, victim family member turns attacker, etc. Even have scenarios where you're out with your family and stuff goes down. Talk about tunnel vision. "Not bad but you shot your kid here, and here, and here. And put one through that door your wife just walked through. Want to try this one again?"
  16. I saw a follow-up on it. He had multiple contacts with police, one being stabbing/cutting another homeless person at a shelter. If the cops there are like they are here, the ones in areas with large homeless populations know most everyone…who's done what, who's not a problem, who to watch out for and not turn your back to.
  17. They could've beanbagged him only. Small knives still cut. This guy had a history with the PD already…involving knife attacks. I may have shot him if there was a known slasher history to me.
  18. Worked a year for the local cop union, picking up donations for the Shop-With-A-Cop program. Rode my '83 R80ST, they paid gas, maintenance, and for every donation picked up. I felt the same way…"I get paid for this?" Also got ignored by the motorcops while doing that.
  19. Someone with quads needs to bring quads…just sayin'.
  20. Love that blade, Rene! One-word description: STOUT Here's my EDC, matched pair, left clip moved for left-hand use. 4" blades, non-assisted opening…qualifies as a "pocket knife" under AZ law, since they repealed the length requirement.
  21. Well, we know the Nordic stuff fits. So does this oversize safety:
  22. Yes! Man, I was thinking "What is the name of their hunting bullet? Match King…no. Match King…no. Phuck!" lol
  23. Welcome NTX!
