    Militia

This April 19 is also supposed to be "The Shot Heard 'Round The World"…everyone go shoot.

  5. For presently available aftermarket items, the ARs and 10/22s run neck-&-neck. For all time accessories EVER it would have to be the 1911s.
  6. Probably a spring/buffer system like on our Mossy 930s.
  7. These days a LOT of people say these "cleaning discharges" are the result of short trigger pull, striker fired pistols. But even as a kid, people cleaning revolvers were doing the same thing. It's all about keeping your head and butt separated.
  8. Wait…are we back on rifles?
  9. Hey spaniky, nice! What's that dagger top center?
  10. Looks like they dropped the ball with what should be a side-cocking system.
  11. It shoots in the Mossy 930, which won't cycle the light WWB target loads.
  12. Welcome smurf! I think with most that their dealers are playing games or they special ordered lots of different options on their individual rifles. I bought 2 that were available off Gunbroker for less than MSRP and "in stock".

    Militia

While I'd heard awhile back about Arizona forming a state-sanctioned militia (in accordance with the Arizona constitution), I'd not heard anything about it becoming formal. A couple of articles on the Bundy deal mentioned "The Arizona Praetorian Guard-AZ's Official State Militia"…just looked them up. http://arizonastatemilitia.com
  14. When AZDOC switched from S&W M65s to Glock 19s, THREE range masters shot themselves…in the hands. Never heard anything more about it while working there. Years later I found out DOC had called one of my instructors, to be an expert witness against Glock and their "poorly designed firearm". Took him several minutes to get past the "guns just went off" to the part of the story where they had been shot in the hand…each by themselves. He simply asked... "Is it Department of Corrections policy that a person's own hand is a safe direction to point the muzzle of a firearm?" <lmao> <laughs> As he tells it "All the sudden they didn't want me to be an expert witness anymore."
  15. A dude at our range shot his massive ham-hand (seriously BIG hands…make basketballs look like softballs in his hand), when he followed the slide on a Walther PP home…and "It just went off". No bone was hit…bled all over though.
  16. Do the trees have to be taller than you?
  17. Man, those people overseas can load the SHITE out of a motorcycle! <laughs>
  18. We'll be sorry to see you move but coincidentally, our family is selling land in Western Texas. Fate I tell you, fate!
  19. Sometimes I'll look through the objective lens at it to make me feel normal.
  20. Ruger did a factory 6.8SPC for awhile, was the same price as the other factory offerings. Those prices are INSANE now!
  21. <laughs>
  22. Aawww man! I didn't know that! I've been using that 4-16 Vortex for a side-by-side comparison.
  23. I've not heard that about any brass before, including 5.7 brass. You'd think one of the many people reloading it would've mentioned it.
  24. Naawwww…use the white van and plaster a daycare or baptist church sticker on each front door.
