  7. Doc did mine (with mesh) on Friday morning, I was back behind the auto parts counter Monday morning! I seriously doubt mine was anywhere near as bad as yours though brother. My doc didn't freak out and send me straight to surgery like yours did! :ugone2far: <lmao>
  8. I have a left handed wife, but that's no use to you. <laughs>
  9. No badge envy here, it's all good! <thumbsup> The only envy I have is that Rob's still getting to do the job and I'm retired. There are times I REALLY wish I was back out there! C:-)

  12. Midway has AO Precision AR-15 uppers on sale for $64.99 until Nov. 22nd. I don't have any experience with AO Precision but the reviews at Midway seem pretty positive. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/898248/ao-precision-upper-receiver-stripped-ar-15-m4-flat-top-matte
  13. Atta boy Matt! <thumbsup>
  14. You guys reminded me of a stunt a buddy of mine used to pull on Halloween back when we were in high school. Now mind you, this guy was the County Attorney's son! He lived next door to the high school principal in Eureka Kansas, a town of about 3000. He used to go down to Arkansas in the summer and buy M-80's, as they were illegal to sell in Kansas. Anyway, on Halloween night the cops would keep a pretty close patrol around his neighborhood because of it being where the principal lived. My buddy would wind the fuse of an M-80 into a ballpoint pen spring with a couple of wires attached to each end, and then throw it on the principal's front porch. he would then go back in his garage and touch the other end of the wires to a car battery, which would heat the spring and light the M-80 fuse. After the M-80 went off he would pull the wires back into the garage. He NEVER got caught doing that schit! Funniest damn thing I ever saw!
  15. This is what I'm doing. Great rifle, and I've got some stuff changed and more to go. I keep getting sidetracked building AR-15s though!
  16. "It's a Mattel, It's SWELL!" Damn, I can't believe I still remember that! :ugone2far: <lmao>
  17. I've got a 1# coffee can full of stripper clips and a handful of the keys, but I don't use them generally. I've kept the stuff for use with stockpile ammo but could never seem to load ammo any faster than I was shooting it! Now that my son is in Okinawa maybe I can get ahead and store some away, he shot up more 223 than I did!
  18. What Tom REALLY looks like on his bicycle! <lmao>
  19. Welcome from New Mexico! Seasprite is right, we WILL help you spend your money, there's a whole group of enablers here! <lmao> All kidding aside, this site has some of the most knowledgeable folks around when it comes to the AR platform. Don't hesitate to post up any questions.
  20. My first wife wouldn't even cook the stuff for me, she couldn't even stand the smell! I would have my deer cut up all boneless steaks and the rest made into sausage. On graveyard shift I would go home and make myself a couple of deer sausage sandwiches every night. Loved those things, and I didn't mind not sharing with anyone else a bit! More for me! <thumbsup>
  21. The proliferation of AR platform rifles in this country coupled with the media attention they generate makes me think these rifles showing up at these incidents is going to get to be a common occurrence! I don't like it but that's my take on it.
  22. 10:30 a.m.: EYEWITNESS ACCOUNT: Brian Adamick, 43, said he was getting ready to fly to Chicago for his brother’s wedding and was boarding a Spirit Airlines flight at Gate 32 in Terminal 3. He said people were running through the terminal, away from a security area. Adamick said he went through an emergency exit downstairs onto the tarmac with several other passengers. “While I was on the tarmac, I heard two gunshots from the same area where the people had been running and screaming,” he said. A few minutes after he got outside, he said buses showed up to help evacuate passengers. He saw a wounded TSA agent board one of the buses. The man’s ankle was bloody: “it looked like it was straight out of the movies,” Adamick said. The man, told him, “I got shot, I’m fine.” He told passengers not to worry about him and that he had been shot before, Adamick said. WTF did this guy witness? From the account given here, the only thing he's an eye witness to is people running and a bloody ankle! He sure as fcuk didn't witness any shooting! News media in this country is a joke!
  23. We had a chief like that back when we hotseated patrol cars (didn't have take home cars). He ordered 3 new cars with no radios. This was back in the 80's when you could actually get a car without a radio! Within 3 months those cars all had aftermarket AM/FM/Casette decks in the glove boxes! Don't know how they got there! <lmao>
  24. SOMEBODY has to warn the virgins! Once a cop, always a cop! <lmao>
  25. Don't give me that innocent look! You KNOW what I'm talking about! :bitchslap:
