  1. Probably have to find a 'Tactical' Tattoo parlor to get it done in FDE! <lmao>
  2. I suspect the brass is like copper fittings, if you don't have flux on it the lead doesn't stick for crap!
  3. I won't use stick powders in my Dillon because of the inconsistencies. I used to load 223 with IMR 4895 but gave up on the stuff because of the variations. I didn't know all IMR powders were stick, which is why I asked. I've been doing great with H335 in .223 and Varget in .308, they are spherical powders and meter extremely consistent. I have 4 lbs of Varget I picked up at the Ft. Bliss Rod & gun Club a few months ago and I just picked up an 8 lb. jug of H335 in Las Cruces last week. I should be okay for a while yet. I also have a pound of CFE223 I came across a while back. I haven't tried that powder yet so I'm interested in seeing how it groups in my rifles.
  4. 780 <thumbsup>
  5. AND...........I don't have that damn much facial hair either you retards! :fawkdance: <lmao>
  6. I'll stick with the Pmags.
  7. Is it a stick powder? How does it meter through the powder measure?
  8. I just put an AR-15 together with a 16" lightweight middy barrel. It shoots softer than my 16" with the midweight carbine barrel for sure!
  9. Oh, we WILL get there! <thumbsup> 750!
  10. Hey! I wear a size 12 shoe I'll have you know (but a 13 feels better). :fawkdance: <lmao>
  11. Yup, the Arizona guys are always ready for a get together. When I posted that I was going to pick my son up from his MOS school at 29 Palms and was going to be in Casa Grande for a few days at his sister's it was only about a week they had a shoot planned for him. Tom, Mike and Jon were there and Dirk even drove out from Cali. to be there. My son will never forget the great time he had that day! He's already talking about his next trip home from Okinawa (to get married) and can we get with the guys in Arizona while he's here! :auto:
  12. Stick around Dave, it's bound to get worse! :threadjack: :hornet:
  13. Nope, Tom bought it all! <lmao>
  14. I do it the same way. That has worked really well for me.
  15. And you're surprised? <laughs>
  16. HAHA! That's pretty cool! I have to show that one to my son when he gets home from Okinawa, that sort of stuff is right up his alley!
  17. Yup, I have a Dillon 550 that I got back when I was going through 12-15K .40 S&W reloads a year (plus quite a bit of .357 and .45). I can knock out 1K .223 or .308 in a day easily. I wouldn't try that on anything but a progressive!
  18. Yes they do! :auto: <laughs>
  19. And you freeze your a$$ off in the winter! <laughs>
  20. If you measure edge to edge and subtract your bullet diameter that gives you your center to center measurement.
  21. I couldn't say, I've never hunted up there but as Rob said, coyote hunting is good all over the state.
  22. Thanks for the clarification Tom. I wasn't sure if there were some A-2 buffer tubes out there or if all A-2s used the spacer. <thumbsup>
  23. That's exactly what popped into my head when he turned that corner,"Dude you just got shot in the back!"
  24. What a lowlife P.O.S. asshat! >:(
  25. An A-1 stock is about 1/2" shorter and I believe it uses the same buffer tube as the A-2, there is a spacer on the end of the tube for the A-2 stock. If you need to go shorter you'll probably have to go to an adjustable stock, which means you'll also have to go to a carbine buffer tube, spring and buffer.
