So, there I was sitting at the local Friends of NRA dinner the other night with about $200 worth of raffle tickets. My wife had talked me into buying a $100 ticket package that had one blue ticket for a Franchi Affinity shotgun and something like 30 tickets to put in buckets sitting in front of other items you're interested in. I had also bought into about $100 worth of raffles on other guns. Most of the tickets from the package went into buckets for guns too. As the winners are called for each raffle I throw my now worthless ticket for that raffle into a red solo cup sitting on the table in front of me. Finally I'm sitting there with a solo cup full of tickets and the one blue ticket the only thing left on the table and I'm thinking "well, this is a done deal. At least my money went for an excellent cause!" The announcer rattles off the number of the blue ticket, and damned if it isn't the same as mine. I won that Affinity 12 ga. shot gun! I gotta say, this is one sweet gun!
